That episode was so epicly brilliant and an absolute feels overload. Rivers speech about the Doctor and then realizing he was by her side is one of the high points of the season I think.

River is the greatest charachter for me and I was so sad when I saw this "goodbye", but also so happy for seeing her with 12th. The Husbands of River Song has reached my top 10 episodes of DW and is definitely the best Christmas episode so far.

Simple fix: record everything with 2 devices. Then if one fails you have a backup, or can transfer the sound/video to the main recording. A $200 digital camera will be fine.
Didn't rate the first half of the episode but the second half that was just filled with Twelve and River feels was so well written and acted

If you really want the feels, listen to the music playing behind Twelve's last conversation with River and then listen to the score when Ten is running through the library with the screwdriver. Exactly the same, just different arrangements.

I'm sure the technical issues have been just as frustrating for you as they have been for us, if not more so. It's not like you owe your subscribers anything. I know you didn't want these things to keep happening. I will say, however, considering the fact that you recorded your reactions months earlier, some type of advance warning not to get our expectations too high might have been nice. I'm still a bit bummed about waiting so long to see your reaction to Heaven Sent only to discover that you missed the best part. Well, I don't want to make a bigger deal out of it than it is. It's fun to watch you two, so of course it's disappointing to see that you've been plagued by so many difficulties beyond your control, but it's not like it's the end of the world. Here's hoping things go more smoothly for you in the future.
I remember being frustrated that River kept missing the “hints” from the Doctor.
Ok, I still love it. But if you can get a hold of an extra camera each, maybe on the side, you'd have backup footage to edit with. (Of course you'd do best to just mail the footage on a thumb drive at that point, remembering the fact that you had trouble sending it to one another when it was just the one camera for both of you.)
Would love to see you ladies react to some 24, great drama and great action. Not to mention a few proper tearjerking scenes.Also looking forward to your Abominable Bride reactions 😊

Two ladies totally drunk watching their Doctor Who...
Ah, the only episode which had me, for once, tolerate River Song. And improvement from season eight's special which was, quite frankly, a slap in the face. Additionally, it was so jarring seeing only one of them react halfway through as though talking to herself. XD
This episode creates a big plot hole in Silence in the Library? She has a photo of every Doctor, in order and has only met one of them (11) and then is surprised that 10 doesn't know her. Remember that she got all 12 faces in order and knew that 11 was meant to be his last regeneration and the only doctor she'd met until this point in her timeline so then being surprised the one before him doesn't remember is silly... Then isn't most Moffat logic

With the real Christmas episode done, I would recommend you two do a reaction to this video I'm offering a link to. However, it's a little different as it's an audio of a fan story written by this budding voice actor/ impressionist who also writes Doctor Who stories. It's an alternative Christmas episode he wrote which is a multi-doctor episode involving Doctors 9, 10, 11 and 12, plus two surprise Doctors as well; all done by this impressionist as well as few of his fellow impressionist friends. Hope you two can do this; I think you'll both like it:

+Liam Beerens it's heavily implied 12 stays with her that 'one night' *24 years*, making it highly likely that he probably tells her his name during those years. I WOULD like to see River again (I've always thought he could find a way to download her from the library computer into a new body (heck...get some of her DNA and clone her a bloody new body).
+Liam Beerens She read it off the side of his cot in "A Good Man Goes to War." It was already established that she could read Gallifreyan, so she didn't need it to translate. That was part of the misdirection of the cot in that episode - we're led to believe Amy needs to read the side of the cot, but its actually River's name on the leaf. But also we're then distracted to the leaf and forget that River can read the Doctor's name off the side of the cot.

It could be at first. But tennant used the regen to heal himself. He didn't fully use it. If you count John Hurt Matt's actually the 12th Doctor.
Matt was the 13th and last Doctor of his first life cycle. 10th's healing regeneration used enough energy to count as a full regeneration except the Doctor decided to keep his same appearance. Other Doctor or War Doctor although he never called himself The Doctor was still a full regeneration so the count goes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, Other (really 9) 9 (really 10) 10 (really 11) 10 healed (really 12) 11 (really 13 and final) 12 is 1b as he is the beginning of a new life cycle
No,David only healed himself. He even mentioned it to jack,rose and Donna so no Matt's the 12th.
No he isn't . Re-watch The Time of The Doctor and listen to the conversation the 11th Doctor has with Clara. He states he is in his 13th and final incarnation. He mentions while he never changed his face when he healed himself he still used up a regeneration. That is why Clara begs the Time Lords in the Crack to grant him a new regeneration cycle and that is why 11th Doctor tells all the enemy forces on Trenzelore to never tell him the rules, because he breaks them.
