Man, I'm 19, been interested in programming my entire life (well since the day I knew about it anyway), but I never knew these things existed. I just followed my parents' advice and kept focusing on school because that would land me a good college with a CSE branch. Now that I want to dive in, I'm afraid that I could only go to intermediate level hackathons and meets where everyone would know so much more than me, and I'd just be sitting around confused :(
Honestly first I thought the same thing cuz my parents and teachers advised me the same thing. And I am so much regretting it right now. I was 15 when i first started preparing for entrance exams while going non-schooling. And it was okay but i was advised to only focus on the main subjects that is PCM and I studied it and solved the advanced level questions but I...I didn't know why i was doing it. I couldn't understand anything at all. Mainly why was i doing it & the purpose behind those topics? And, it was so hard for me. I didn't know the purpose but i sure knew i wanted to go for programming but i was still confused about my choices. I am 17 now, and I know for sure that i wouldn't be able to pass the entrance exams for now but only gonna focus on school exams. In my drop year, i would take some basic coding classes and relate my high school topics with practical real life situations and go into deep studying plus i shall need to sharpen my mathematics, my brainstorming ideas and problem-solving skills by relating it with coding. And real life situations. I was just only going with the flow of teachers and their advices. But there is so much to do in real life and i am not gonna give up. Sometimes i cry realising i wasted my two years becoz of other people's expectations and advices cuz they thought it would be good for me cuz they thought it was the only right path. But right now, slowly i am realising my own choices and which field fascinates me a lot. I am not gonna go back to the same situation and the mistake i committed again. I will do my best this time. Wish me luck guys. I may come back again.
Hey! I loved the video when I watched it a few weeks ago preparing for my first hackathon. Now here I am, and I have some front-end to do. I was wondering what platform/environment you guys used for making the website that showed you how it looks like live, next to the code. I could really use this info, thanks!
well your videos are really amazing hope you will create more contents and i am new on the channel but i really enjoyed your videos 🙂 thank you and congratulation
Simply put, we built an app that tracks the recycling activity of each student at a University with a point-based system. The student with the most points gets a reward!

thats how you learn tho, its always best to surround yourself with people smarter than you. You gonna learn so much in that type of environment
