The theme she had in mind is good but honestly, it felt too much for my taste. Firstly, the sofa in the living room is just so huge and occupies entire space, it just looked congested, already setting a vibe of the house. Her room too, was way too congested for me. There is literally no space to walk or an empty space in that room, like for that space minimalistic decor could have sufficed and would have given a much cleaner and mature vibe to it. Overall the house can be described in one word ‘congested’ and it’s already giving me headache thinking about the cleaning process. Lord help the person who does it!
We Indians are not used to seeing living Spaces with a heavy personality, that’s why it’s surprising when we see others who are not ‘following the crowd’. A typical Indian house is very open and wide with furniture places too far away from each other, the reason why it’s like that is because it’s easier to clean the room. Style is not objective, while some prefer minimalism, others may like their furniture to be huge and space taking. While I understand that for some, congested places can get them overwhelmed and overstimulated, people who want to add personality to their place and are dedicated to cleaning and maintaining it will have no problem living in such places.
