Like the hexagonal rap on your sprinter ace👌.Ooft just spent 6 hour’s pulling the whole dash and everything else out of my sprinter just to get my hands on and pull out the burst coolant matrix PHEW! 😂.👍
I lost it at "Watching him in full autism have a breakdown about people not doing things right!!" Im a master plumber and you can bet that Im using that at least once a week FOREVER!! CHEERS!!
They are interesting vehicles but I find they are a total bitch to work on depending on how many cylinders there are 5 or 6, auto gearbox are nice but do go wrong, your mate has done a nice job though ❤
Something to maybe set your mind at rest ref your DAF, Military vehicles are serviced on a time or mileage basis so despite your truck not having many miles on it, chances are its had regular oil changes and has been run up as well.
The bit i worry about is all the rubber seals and gaskets that haven’t had the movement over the years. The engine is awesome but the fuel lines are already letting air in the common fail points and I will need to make some better braided ones.
Just to add to this, as a modern era veteran I can confirm zero servicing gets done and it’s usually just signed off because we’re so undermanned it’s impossible to actually service all vehicles
Loving the Pinz content. They know a lot about 'em, those boys!
Thanks pal. I’m sure I can get some more over the next few months.

I agree Rich re roof tent, I have a Howling Moon Wizz 24 tent and it's awesome.Very heavy but really substantial. Cool in Summer, warm in winter.

tipped hat
For a vehicle that doesn’t break, it seems very broken.
A couple of 20+ year old rubber components deteriorated and some bad workmanship it’s had previously
Show me a more reliable military vehicle of its age
