Yeah it was crazy. I was hearing tons of sirens while on scene of the first fire, and I thought that maybe it was just more units arriving on scene of the first fire, but I never saw any additional units or firefighters. When I was walking back to my truck I looked down the next street and saw all of those other units on scene of the other fire. It was nuts! Thanks for watching man!
Holy crow how many units do they have? Lol Seriously though awesome catches buddy, I smiled when the Ladder rolled out cause I knew how much you've been wanting to catch it!
Yeah I smiled too, I got 2 videos of it going emerg that day so I was really lucky! This hall has a lot of units, and I'm not even sure if I'll get them all but it'll be close. Engine 101, Engine 103, Squad 101, Squad 102, Ladder 1, MIRV 1, Medic 31, Medic 91, Platoon Chief and maybe 1-2 other incident command type units. It's a big hall! Plus Rescue 5 was there when I was there due to their hall being closed for construction right now.
Oh nice! Is the Medical Superintendent the same as a Medical Supervisor? Or are they two different positions with different vehicles? Because I caught a Medical Supervisor arriving on scene at 1:52, and that could've came from 1 Hall as well.
I think training wise the Superintendent would be similar but as a position on shift he/she would be more like the Platoon Chief and a Supervisor would be more like a District Chief if I had to compare. When I was there it was rare to see him/her out of the hall let alone responding to calls but times change. They do have a vehicle, it was an F-150 when I was there, and it was usually parked behind the Platoon Chiefs vehicle.
You're wondering if they're making another fire station in the south or if I will go to a fire station in the south? I'll likely try and get some videos in other parts of Winnipeg over the next year or two, and I do believe they're planning on putting another station in the south end.
They've got 8 bays in the front and I think they've got 2 bays in the back, but those are just so Ladder 1 and MIRV 1 can pull straight through without having to back into their bay.

They also have, unless it's changed, Medical Superintendent 55 who is like the Platoon Chief for EMS.
