We visited here in late 2019 on our honeymoon and explored the town and castle for hours. Cannot wait to go back again!

Dzięki wielkie za komentarz, faktycznie położenie miasta jest wyjątkowe, no i te widoki z cytadeli są przepiękne w słoneczną pogodę.
Niewielka miejscowość ślicznie położona u podnóża charakterystycznej monumentalnej skały. Widać okazałą cytadelę i romańską katedrę. W Sisteron więziony był w latach 1638-1640 Jan Kazimierz, przyszły król Polski. Pozdrawiam.
Miejscowość jest wyjątkowo ciekawie położona, a cytadela robi wrażenie (i widoki z niej też). Tak, czytałem o tym, że nasz przyszły król był tam więziony - www.wilanow-palac.pl/krolewicz_jan_kazimierz_aresztowany.html
