Apache 180 is very close to the apache 160 4v in terms of power and torque. And the price range is also not very different. I think in the next update, both the apache 160 and 200 4v versions will come with some groundbreaking performance updates, and cool features, with a little price hike to justify that.
Upcoming apache 160 4v have been spotted during testing, new exhaust, major upgrades in engine, dual channel abs (hopefully) and much more Also they gave the same instrument cluster and modes to 160 2v so they will actually give a lot more features to 160 4v in order to keep its sales up
Both of them make sense when the someone about the age of 35 to 45 is considering an upgrade/change from pulsar 150/180 series or from standard commuter bikes like glamour splendor and maybe cb shine unicorn. For them the ergonomics is on point while the 4v's are a tad bit sportier
Waiting fr this update since a long. This is what called a proper update, a proper response to what customers demand frm the brand. Now this is a much better looking commuter with plenty of features too. All leds+ digital meter+ gear indicator+ wider rear tyre+ more colour options & what not. Im surely gonna buy this as my family bike🥰
I owned 180 once. That design is just iconic, the OG. The only thing I didn't like the new instrument cluster. Kyunnnnnn !! The old cluster had that legendary big tachometer with a bright red needle. If the old models are still having sells volume, that means people want the og Apache. This is same as ending the era of pulsar 220f . Anyway what's gone is gone ..... End of rant !!
Correct that's the problem with Indian automakers see the Japanese counterparts honda still sales its old iconic unicorn and shine with some tweak same goes for yamaha
Can we expect refinement improvements in this update, if refinement improved, it's a nice bike for the city commute. How is the refinement in current generation, are they any improved from the OGs big feature-vibrations
I don't know why TVS hike 10K for Apache 180 still doesn't offer dual Channel ABS. Bajaj is offering lots of features in N160 under 1.28L. At 1.39L one can buy feature loaded 2004v then why one should go for 180 at 1.31L.
The Thing with These RTR models are they are not trying to be anything else. Unlike other Big brands R15 is a baby R1, FZ is baby FZ, Gixxer is a baby GXXR, Etc. Etc. I personally would've preferred carburetor and Kick start on these models and full air cooled 180. The more the parts the more points of failures. Less of those flashy Decals. Beefy suspension and Option for more premium after market parts options too. Also Analog TachoMeter . The perfect RTR was the Beast edition Matt blue one.
@@abhinavkashyap6717 it does mostly, but i feel the rtr engine is too good, the only problem with it going 110+ is the tranny. It works best in city etc but on highway loaded, it is not best past 115-120 ( u can but it gets strained)

Here the main point in saying that the 2v is closer in pricing to the 4v. U see in response to the n160's launch, tvs is coming up with few more updates to the 160 4v and new updates means higher price. so the gap will be equalised in coming weeks.!

Honest opinion, they can just discontinue the 160 2v and keep selling the 180 as it serves as a mid variant since there is already a 160 4v which makes the 1160 2v questionable for its existence. I myself am a proud owner of the 160 2v 2012 version!
