  • On the first weekend of June, Myself and my other half popped back to Langford lakes, as part of my ongoing project to help showcase the summer wildlife on the reserve!
This vlog will also be one of the last of me using the 70 to 300 at lakes, as shortly after this was filmed I was able to get a 150 to 600 from sigma! The first time and vlog has already been filmed and due to be edited in the coming weeks!
I was personally looking to capture, some of the younger animal such as the coots, blue tits and grey heron that were due to be born around now! As well trying to get a kingfisher in hurting at the top lake, as it is one of the close place within the reserve where you can see them!
As well as sharing some of news from what is new at the Lakes!
This was also the first day where I was able to see and of course capture lapwings, as the island at the top lakes had mostly comes back, as the water level had dropped!
After a few hours at the top lake, popped down to the rest of the Reserve, as I was looking for more of the smaller birds! such as the young long trail tit, that I was able to capture!
As well, a small blue tit family and a dragon fly! Ending off with a few hours within the kingfisher hide, as he normally comes out and hurts around 2 o clock or so! ( normally down to when he went home in the morning. )
Followed by me, ending of the video, so thank you so much for watching!
