- 2024 4th of July trip from Pennsylvania to Cape Lookout, North Carolina.
We took the Ferry in Davis, NC that we scheduled through the “Cape Lookout Cabins & Campground” company.
Cost - $135 Per vehicle & $20 per person (Ferry)
- $25 Beach driving pass (per vehicle) get on the Cape Lookout park website. (It’s $50 if you get it in March or later).
Island has ice and gift shop near the Cape Lookout lighthouse.
Otherwise pack everything in and out.
We create these videos to help Vets with PTSD or depression, or to flat out help anyone who is fighting an inner demon or monster that has turned their life upside down. We’re not professional photographers or experts, we’re just a few Vets that enjoy getting out, exploring and leaving the nonsense of the current society back on the mainland for a few days.

Did you guys just camp in that ground tent ? If so, how was it in the wind?
we had tent cots and a full size tent. The screened in "dinning tent" was just for shade & bugs, the bugs really weren't an issue but yes the wind was crazy. we actually parked the trucks to try to block the wind with no luck lol. it is just a windy area.
