It'll last for sure. Those engines are unkillable and surprisingly beefy. Slap a 26mm mikuni on there and she'll pull hard as hell.

@@matteo_syd7271 i owned quite a few of them.. fixed quite a few too. Frames crack real easy, stators go out. The cc's definitely don't match the power. A honda atc125 will destroy that thing before it reaches 3rd gear. Not to mention they are for kids to learn on.

He paid for this turd. It is Chinese and it is for little kids max weight. 110 pounds. This is why it will not travel through the tall grass very well with Chuck on it in the backyard and is why he is sitting all way back on it. It's a p.o.s. Chinese turd that needs to stay in China. You can buy one around here for $300. Smoking, half the plastics missing and front end barely hanging on. Only a couple years old too. Just junk.

But i think you need to replace 4 times as many parts so that makes it even
@@woutbuitenhuis7983 guy bought it used all it needed was brake shoes front and back for like 16 bucks for all of them and the CDI eventually went out but it was only $16 starter work good...transmission works good... well worth what they ask for them.... this particular one was like $700 brand new 125CC 4 stroke 4 speed Auto clutch... drum brakes
Yah like the first guy said , cheap parts that you are going to replace more often. I would much rather pay more money upfront for something that I know will last so that I can have that peace of mind. Not to mention the name brand bikes and quads are big name brands for a reason; they are well made and perform well

I'll bet that extra CDI is for beast mode because it's probably governed for kids right now. Generally by changing CDI could remove that restriction.

You're probably right ! My nephew's kfx50 has a CDI you can buy to make it a lil faster. Also has a spacer plate on the clutch and a restrictor in the manifold you can remove to gain speed. Dunno if the Chinese ones have those or not
Looks like a really nice little quad you got there. Appreciate seeing the time and hard work on completely building this beast. Can't get over how minty everything is and how good that engine sounds after the build. It's almost like it's brand new or something. Crazy. I can only give you a 1 🌭 out of 5 on the official Oscar Meyer Wiener Scale since it's a Chinese hunk o junk and you didn"t even check anything on it before starting it and riding. You can achieve a 3 🌭🌭🌭 rating if you actually torture test it off road, 4 🌭🌭🌭🌭 rating if something major breaks on it by the next video, and a final 5 out of 5 🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭 if it blows up in a top speed run.

Get a mikuni carb I have a built race ready keeps up this a cr85 140cc pit bike anyways cuz the stock carb it’s not good get a big bore kit and stronger valve springs instal an oil cooler race clutch

You should get a 1986 suzuki lt230 quadsport if you want to see this like it to get his attention
I’ve got the same quad mine’s a 87 Suzuki LT230s Quadsport. They are really fun I would totally recommend getting one.

I have one of those and it turns over but won’t start I cleaned the carb and spark plug and it still won’t start any ideas of what it could be???

Great videos. I used to have a fantasy my channel would grow and I'd get free ebikes and escooters. Now, (years later) I hate every electric scooter for being garbage, so unreliable I could shit. This seems like the catch 22 of quads. How many miles or minutes until it needs wrenching?

My son has one identical to that but blue and black with steel racks.. do yourself a favor and loctite everything! Including the lug nuts on the front and the bolts for the rear wheels. There not nuts like you'd expect there actually bolts and they all come loose. Overall a decent quad for $1,000 out the door registered and all.
I bought a chinese 250 quad not sure the name but it broke in 2 hours..and i took it back was from a dealer in texas....then i bought him a 2019 trx 250x..much better..bit if it was free how?

Not sure what you plan to do with it, but it looks like a kids toy, like it was made for a 10 year old. When you sit on it your knees are almost hitting the handlebars, it is clearly too small for you guys.

These chinese engines have emissions components like egr, tamper proof fasteners on the intake and carburetor, catalytic converter and restrictive exhaust. They run better without these things
The oil that comes in it's just break in oil make sure you change it
good old chinese junk. i know this is old but the oil they are shipped with is only meant for shipping. that oil needs to be changed out before you even start it 😂😂

Slap a 26mm mikuni on there, check valve clearance and change the oil. Hella much fun for really cheap. It's currently tuned to china specs, runs lean and the exhaust is restricted.
