I actually highly recommend play Juno: New Origins. Its a fun game that is free to play but if you want career mode like in KSP but a bit harder (also you have to pay for your launch. Its like tax for rockets bruh), you have to pay to unlock it. (Also first so stop with the hate comments im sick of them)
Oh but wait until you see all the little sub communities that are in the game IE: Players who build tractors, trucks, construction equipment, I actually build these
Heroix have you heard of exit pressure because is one of the reasons your first rocket can't fly because the exit pressure is lower than the air pressure so it can't lift of so like at the designer menu and look at the exit pressure the nozzle has to be small for sea level engines and big for vacuum engines

Docking is actually tricky and programming is trickier but landing is just practice really. As soon as you understand what you're doing it becomes so much easier. Trust me, i speak from experience hahaha
