People often can easily move on when it's just numbers, even when the number of killed is horrendous(I feel there's a better word but just can't think of it). Think of how the western media went to the great lengths to show the individual stories of Israelis killed by Hamas, while generalizing the deaths of Palestinians and the destruction of their land(homes, hospitals, schools, mosques, churches, etc.). I'm grateful for the independent media that provides this information.

I always think this whenever a Palestinian manages to get some airtime - pretty much all of them have suffered some kind of terrible loss, but they have a job to do and a responsibility to advocate for the Palestinian people. So they have to be calm and measured, and not become "too emotional", usually while talking to someone who at best is dismissive of what they and the Palestinians are going through. Or at worst, someone trying to bait and demonise them. And they'll still be framed as "the bad guys" while the people murdering thousands of Palestinians and destroying their city are "the good guys", the real victims here. Honestly it shows what they've been going through for so long

Thanks for making this, it must have been so difficult to be so composed and explain things in such a gentle way (that sounds strange but it genuinely comes across as wanting to help people understand).
