I'm British. I've worked in many countries, and never fail to be amazed by the false information the BBC puts out, until now I have no trust in the British Broadcasting Corporation.
You are not alone ..they are flat out liars..
As an american I used to watch the BBC because I thought they were at least a little more truthful than American new networks. Maybe I was wrong. In any case, I don't know what's real anymore.
But everyone knows that it's MI5/6 great way to send spy's all over the world especially in places of trouble not All but I'm sure many in the BBC. Citizen funded no advertisements required, we fund it through the BBC tax and they send agents to your door if you do not have an update license.

I remember, as a child in the 1950s, hearing that there was no freedom of speech in Soviet Russia. Fast forward to the 21st century, and the age of innocence is gone.
I member as a child hearing people in Africa and like Iran and China basically lived in tiny huts. BUUUUUULLLLLLLSHIIIIIIIIIT
I remember, as a child , hearing that my dads parents had been released from Siberia in the 1950s , when Stalin died. My dad was imprisoned in the Lubyanka prison in 1940, after Stalin had done a deal with Hitler to carve up Poland and western Ukraine between them(1939) and 20 thousand Poles had been murdered by Russian troops in the Katyn forest. My dad was 18 years old at the time and had been studying at a Ukrainian orthodox seminary. (this was how you got a further education as a Ukrainian peasant farmer, but my dad was thinking about becoming apriest before the Russians invaded his country). He was arrested as a political prisoner for being unable to grass up his neighbours for non existent transgressions.. This apparently made him an enemy of the Soviets. He was 18. He had committed no crime except for being a Kulak. ((Ukrainian peasant) His younger brother was shot , in the late 1940s for distributing pro democratic literature.. By this time my dad had settled in England , after fighting with the Polish forces, against the Nazis in North Africa and Italy (Monte Casino). He was not to hear from his parents for another 10 years. Stalin murdered millions of Ukrainians < indeed he murdered millions from other subject nations, afte4r which time he settled many Russians in the areas of Ukraine denuded of its native population- There are great historical parallels with the American treatment of Native American populations. This happened to the grandparents of Ukrainians now fighting against a russia which,on its own, internal Russian tv admits its genocidal intent in Ukraine.

I agree with you. It's their job to shine a light on the truth and report the facts without bias. Otherwise they are just an activists or just a puppet spreading propaganda! I loved having a Twitter account because I felt like I had a voice, able to post my views and opinions, all well-researched, on a number of subjects. I turned my attention to Ukraine & posted information given to me by citizens remaining in that country. Overwhelmingly they reported that once the Russians landed they felt 'safe' enough to leave their homes at will and walk the streets whenever they wanted with family or friends. Clearly this didn't match up with the mostly Western mainstream media's view of Zelensky as a SAVVY POLITICIAN AND saviour of the people. Many unimpeachable political commentators attributed Zelensky's success in the 2019 general election as being due to his recognizability, having been a comedic performer in Ukraine for years, and most of all for having NO political experience as a sudden surge of republican sentiment gripped the nation following years of oligarchic rule. Pointing this out resulted in a sudden and unforeseeable (according to Musk) issue with some Twitter accounts. My account, history and followers was wiped.

Thank you for this report. I have read that Ukraine has lost 200k troops. No one is signing up to fight. Have you noticed that they are now asking for long range rockets/ missiles...this is what a county does when they don't have enough boots on the ground, they have all but stopped asking for rifles/ammo.
I have never been able to find Ukrainian casualties in this war. The same for the Russians.
Everything is a guesstimate. But no doubt the Ukraine has casualties and material losses as well civilian.
Looking at the ammount of destroyed RF armor and some news they have heavy losses.
Most MSM journalists are actually activists PRETENDING to be reporters… perfect description! This is why I avoid the majority of MSM and instead have come to rely on independent podcasts and citizen journalists. God bless you, gentlemen and all those who practice journalistic integrity!

NONE of the 'journalists, are actually near the front lines unless on a guided tour by the military of the side they support, Eva Bartlett and Patrick Lancaster are exceptions but then they aren't MSM 'journalists' either. Exact same for me. I was pro-west and the US during the first Gulf War. Followed it and the aftermath very closely-WMD inspectors, punitive sanctions, Iraq becoming the most surveilled country in the world, etc. And yet we were told that Saddam Hussien could possibly strike London with a WMD within minutes. Clear to me we were being fed a crock of shit, and my long-held belief in the western establishment crumbled. I finally saw them as the power mad, murderous liars they are.

Added to the control of the media, I recall that on one hand 'reporters' embedded also had to have their press released approved by the military before being sent to the home newspapers; on the other hand, numerous independent correspondents who did go out suffered a high death rate. Am sure some were killed by American forces ordered to do so, maybe the CIA but their deaths were used to scare so-called reporters into submission.
I think the main problem of censorship and deception about Ukraine is the loss of credibility of the media and institutions. This (at least for me) will last the rest of my life.

He was there unashamedly, with hat in hand, despite the buried story from some months back that 17 million pounds of military aid, donated by the UK a few months before, had just 'disappeared' without a trace. No inquiry. No investigation. No request from the UK to uncover the whereabouts of that donation. Nothing. It was as if it never happened, and Zelensky was still being paraded around and championed and showered with more millions, no questions asked.

It was all out there in open.

It's important to remember there are different types of journalism. The job of a reporter on the field is to tell people what is happening, not what he wants them to believe. An opinion columnist however can try to persuade or influence public opinion.

It may be dishonest but it’s nothing compared to the many examples of atrocity propaganda I’ve seen over the years. In order to stay informed I could always rely on the BBC, I used to be an evangelist for the BBC, it was the source of unbiased, factual reortage. Oh how things have changed, why I do not know, now it is mendacious, biased and filters 'news' to the point of simply selecting alarmist headlines and then rely on anecdote and hearsay in order to pad out a report. I might as well go down the pub if I want up to date news. It is shameful what the BBC has become.

A few weeks ago I sent a mail to the Ukrainian Embassy in Paris, saying that together with a French friend, we are organising a truck load full of medicals and food to the Ukraine, and as a white South African without a country anymore, I explained the Ukrainian Embassy, that I don't have a passport anymore to do the trip from France to the Ukraine, and if they could assist in closing the passport gap somehow, and today I just got a bullocks answer back from them, in which they didn't even reply me. So unfortunately we cannot come due to that arrogant Ukrainian Embassy personal, which is really proving me, that the Ukrainian people are being betrayed by their own Government and by their own authorities just like us here in the West and even just as the Russians get betrayed by their own political leaders. This is really sickening, because we were ready to go. The name of my channel is my real name, and I'm not hiding anything. 💯 I’ve discussed this with educated, some highly degreed, and for the most part, they believe whatever the mainstream media says even when the story doesn’t add up.
They did a study on this and actually found that less educated people were actually MORE likely to be open minded IF the information actually came from a trusted source. They are much more likely to be skeptical of sources, but thats kind of the opposite of what we are usually told.

Eat/deal with the hardships of the continued Sanctions and spending for Ukraine's sovereignty But Not our own BORDER that's being invaded.
I have sympathy for innocent people in Ukraine but I keep in mind the crimes against the people in the Donbass, that were overlooked, condoned, ignored or accepted. In that light, these same people seek refuge in other countries and everyone is supposed to treat them as victims and support them and give them special privileges.
The best part is they must know the truth but they go to host countries and continue to bash Russia and ignore crimes against Donbass and plead for help for Ukraine. I'M FED UP!

@@donnaleist698 those are some pretty nasty views thats why you are probably called out. Ukrainians have little to do with this, certainly the refugges are doing lilttle more than escapting war. The issue is complex but we have little to do with it, invading is hardly the answer to anything, so that should be challenged. But russia is hardly the one doing invading.

End of the day there's no side to pick. It's war, and everyone involved should be held accountable to the highest order. Instead, we're seeing innocent lives on all sides suffering at the hands of these clowns and who knows, it might be you and I one day.
