the percussion in this is amazing...and so is absolutely everything else

He is using a tabletop sampler looks like an SP-555 he is also using some vocal effects triggered by his footboard, also probably Roland.
The drummer is using a Roland SPD-S and the key/percussion player is using a Roland Handsonic.Check em out on Roland's US site.

Bass player is a total bad a**!! I am always impressed by amazing bassists. I love the main synth line (verse) rocked on the bass and of course the outro solo!
Frontman with a synth pad and pedals, percussionist playing two drum pads, more drums with a drummer and a drum pad, guitarist with a keyboard, and a bassist.
Five guys playing eight instruments while thee also sing.

@KIDSTAKEABATH G&L ASAT bass, semi-hollow fretless model. But that high, flutey sound you're hearing is coming through an Electro Harmonix HOG (Harmonic Octave Generator). Ira talks about some of his effects in an interview posted, I forget where. But his solo sold me on the pedal. Too bad their performance on Jimmy Fallon isn't still available online because the mix is much better and the bass track stands out so you can really hear the contrast between the dry signal and the affected signal.
