- Is it my Team or do I SUCK? This episode: A Silver Sombra that is playing too well for her rank.

Thank you so much for watching my VOD, Metro! I started utilizing virus over hack on targets I know I can take out without hacking (zen, soldier, hanzo, widow) and I'm already up to high silver! I'm normally a Tracer main and Sombra has quickly become my favorite hero to play this season. I appreciate your advice as always! 🥳

To all sombra players, now with the re-work you can spice it up and don’t always need to go hack into shooting. Virus into shooting is also a great combo and it’s even better in specific situations
I try to virus and then hack, if I miss the virus there’s no point in hacking, just get a bit of dmg and see if I scan bait anything out and translocate out
I've always loved OW content like this... but the fact it has Metro being is snarky (and usually 100% correct self) makes it pure gold. Amazing production and editing too, you can really tell a lot of time is put into these!

I dont play DPS I play support, but I feel like sombra has a similar problem to moira which is when players use their out (fade/translocate/etc) to get into fights and then leave themselves with no way out.

low elo players should learn if hacking before virus is actually worth it, sometimes you do need to hack but at other times you’re gonna get the kill either way and as long as you hit the virus in that situation you’ll save around a second of not shooting
Im in low Diamond on Tank and Dps and high diamond on Support. Seeing this guys Sombra, he's at LEAST mid plat with this gameplay, game sense and aim

Hacking first is very niche now, since it alerts them to your presence, they are way more likely to dodge virus.
I actually use the hack reaction to predict where they’re going to go and generally have 70% accuracy with it.

Idk, reaper is good against tanks, but I feel like his spread just makes hitting tracers, mercys, and Moiras feel bad unless you’re literally up in their face 😂 but he’s honestly a decent pick to counter most tanks
@@mr_d3adw873 He doesn't really counter many tanks. I'd say Ram is the only one who would really die to him in a fight since Ball and Winston can just run away. Rein straight up demolishes him and the other tanks our better at bullying him than he is bullying them.
Every other role can just kill him before he gets close or CC him to death, so its really annoying to play him rn.
@@assassith idk I’ve had a decent enough time against dva. Sigma can die if you avoid his rock and get up close, sometimes he’s good against hog if his team doesn’t help him secure the kill. If you can avoid rein pin and stay just out of hammer reach rein can die, but he’s harder to deal with. But yea, Winston and ball, while huge and take max dmg from reaper, have too much mobility for him to kill unless they’re just playing stupidly
@@mr_d3adw873 Ngl, forgot Dv.a existed, but she can very easily shutdown all of your ults with her DM reducing your value greatly. She can also do the same thing as Ball and Winton where she leaves before she gets too low. It used to be much easier to deal with her before than it is now.
As for Sigma, you have to burst through his shield, his grasp, and avoid getting hit by his rock/primary fire which he can cycle through pretty easily. Plus you almost never get to duel a Sigma alone unless they're out of position so.

I honestly think the gap between silver and plat is smaller than ever these days
A lot of low rank players think their tracking is what's most important. I'm consistently GM on DPS and support and my tracking is nothing to get excited about. Sometimes it can be pretty nasty, but mostly average. It's your brain that will help you climb. You have to think while you're playing. Most of getting better at the game and climbing is mental. If this person played smarter I think they'd instantly jump to plat or diamond.
It seems like elo he’ll truly does exist to a certain extent ranked just isn’t putting better players where they belong
The random Terraria tunes are so out of place but also perfect, if that makes any sense.
My aim is 10x worse and I’m plat 3 atm.
aim is the less important fact if ur fundamentals are better
Dps and tank should have health regen after 5 seconds without shooting or taking damage. Perhaps an enemy can't be within 30m or have los

and this is why Sombra must be nerfed, way too easy to get kills for little effort, you dont need to hack anymore making it easier to land first clip an the virus, it's way too difficult to force her out before u die
Literally just heal whoever gets virused and that's it. Support players are just bad overall and ignore their own backlines too much.
If anything she’s gonna get her emp buffed, this character is fine for the amount of effort needed to get value against people with brain cells.
@@greenpig1175 good prediction! they just lowered EMP cost by 10 percent with the most recent patch! I also feel like her kit is really balanced. People still think that she's got an easy out with her translocator but the rework forces her to treat it like a recall instead of being able to escape the fight. Good supports/tanks can still punish a sombra after translocating.
