"Higher education" is just another business in U.S, Australia, Canada etc., the so-called Anglo-Saxon sphere. Their primary goal is profit, not education. 38 hour part-time works exist, because if you work 40 hours you'll be a full-time employee and the employer has to pay for your health and social insurance + benefits, another "great invention" from U.S..
i can't agree more. Because they control the world media, so they can package themselve in a very nice way, the ranking league publications are part of their marketing, like it or not the top universities on the lists would always be similar throughout 100 years or 1000 years, it would always be thouse from US and UK.
Look at the countries that the US and its allies have invaded in the past 100 years, how many innocent lives have been killed by them? but no one has ever been put to justice. It has proven the so called "world order" designed and dictated by US is a nightmare to the world.
i heard that many degree coures in Australia have unusual high drop-out or failing rate, many international students have to stay for extra years to graduate. Excellent business for Australia.
Australia is also the country that I want to live because of their principle, freedom and quality of live. However, the expenses are the main hindrance. for me. I believe the quality of study is mostly depend on the individual. The more they invest their time to it, the better. However, if someone has a financial problem to live in Au while studying, the effort will mostly benefit on higher education which receives the money. It is a high risk type of investment in this case and can ruin everything someone has if the main goal of studying and finding a job after graduation fail.
Woa what a coincidence. I'm an international student that is planning to study in Australia. And I have a sister that lives there too :) I kind of see my future in you :>
