I said years Ago Khan is the Best match up for Floyd. Although a Mayweather fan and Fan of my Hometown Boy Garcia BUT Khan is a Dangerous opponent for anyone and Is probably the Quickest Speed wise in the Sport! Met Amir at Matthyese vs Peterson fight. Exactly!!!! Your properly the most humble guy on the net. What you just said is so damn true. I also believe that Khan vs Mayweather would be a fight to watch if Khan turns up. Khan is quick and might even be quicker than Money May or on his level. Khan just needs to work on his defence and composure then I believe he will actually be a complete fighter.
You're wrong saying Kahn is a dumb fighter, he isn't. He's fast, hard hitter and a very good boxer. If he had a chin, he'd be great...but he does not.

yeah absolutely. It would be light work, i agree but I think Khan can sneak in some nice work. Hes a solid boxer. Help me out here tho. If not Pacqaio, then who? I pick Khan just because he can box. Maybe a Cotto rematch. I can't think of anybody else. Bradley would get worked. All he has is a solid chin. .
I'll give Khan a chance..power and speed..he's got some fast decent jabs and his hand speed has the potential to be a problem for Floyd..Khan's jabs can penetrate Floyd's philly but he needs to be consistent with it..and Khan's movement can mess up Floyd's distance game..it'll be an interesting fight
Judah was one of the few out there who gave Mayweather problems. And Khan beat Judah, speed and footwork is something Floyd does not do as well against as oppose to someone which just pure strength and power.
So damn true if Khan went in the ring with a calm and composed mind he could take on anybody. I also believe Khan would beat Danny Garcia even though he beat Mathysse in spectacular fashion Khan can outbox him. Khan vs Mayweather would be a exiting fight but I would keep my stakes at Money May because as Tyson says "you just can't bet against him". Khan also needs to put them extra hours in the gym.
Kahn tends to get impatient in the ring. That is one of his flaws. He needs to stick to boxing and staying composed. Kahn is way better than Garcia in my opinion but Garcia got Kahn to fight his fight and Kahn's chin did him in. I think getting rid of roach was a good thing. He needs to work on the defense and use his superior boxing skills more. Kahn has been KO'd, robbed and bounced back. I think he learned a lot and is a legitimate opponent for Floyd.
hes a great boxer ive seen alot of his fights, yes he has a weak chin and when he starts exchanging he loses, but hey, thats boxing for you not everyone is perfect, because boxing is just like life, you get tested and its all about how you bounce back from losses

Amir Khan deserves this fight more than anyone. He has beaten some of the best out there and he knocked Zab Judah OUT! No one deserves this fight more than him. He has been wanting to fight Zab Judah since before Canelo even accepted the fight. He got KO's which delayed a Mayweather fight but he has refocused on fighting him. WHO else to fight floyd? Garcia got knocked down and barely won his fight/ Amir deserves a chance before Garcia or any of those others.

I agree--Cotto seems to be the "best" match-up at this point. Although I really do not desire to see it and I feel he will lose again, he (Cotto) is about the only guy out there who can give Mayweather a run. I like Danny but he's too slow--Floyd will do him like he did Gotti IMO. Khan is fast but like you said he's too impatient plus he has no chin.

I don't think Khan is able to beat Floyd. However, nobody else in my mind can beat Maweather except maybe for Paqauio. I won't get into that though. Just my opinion. I don't know who would win that fight. Regarding Khan, i think he and Floyd would make a good match up. Khan is fast and Maybe he could catch Floyd a little bit. He can box.

I don't think there is anybody ready at 147 - 154 worthy of fighting Mayweather. Except for Pacqauio, that's the only fight left. After Pacqaio beats Rios, (hopefully no robberies) those 2 should fight. Not gonna happen tho. So yeah, i would go with Khan, just because he boxes very well. It would be a good fight if he doesn't get caught so I really can't think of anybody that realistically will fight Floyd that's worth while. Maybe Cotto again. I just don't see how Khan has earned the opportunity to fight Mayweather. Khan has lost a few times now and the way in which he gets defeated is a massive concern. If Floyd wishes to keep his reputation what it is, he needs to fight the very best out there until he calls it time on his career. The alternative is retire now. Equally, why consider fighting Maidana when Khan himself has already beaten him??? I don't have the answers but Floyd must focus purely on the best fighters out there but who are they?? Who the hell can give Floyd a run for his money??

Im british and in my opinion and many others, khan does not deserve a fight against mayweather.

I like Amir Kahn, he was beating the shit outta Garcia until he got the Marquez/Pacquiao 4 treatment, he should know he has no chance against Floyd, hell Garcia has improved a lot since they last fought I think Garcia would hammer him even worse if they had a rematch if he touched his chin again which he would, Kahn is a sick fighter, just got a glass jaw, Roger Mayweather even said Floyd gave Kahn a beating already in sparring session which I can believe, but anywho a great payday for Kahn!!
Khan is a legitimate threat to Floyd and I doubt very much he'll agree to fight him, styles make fights, Khan is a fast boxer brawler & he'll probably lose 7 out of 10 times against Garcia because he brawls but he doesn't have the best chin but against Floyd that's not a problem, now Garcia will lose every time against Mayweather because Garcia doesn't have the necessary speed, Floyd's Achilles' Heal is speed not power but if you have power like Khan that's just a bonus

Doesn't matter how much offense or speed Khan has, this guy has a glass jaw. He gets rocked really easily. Beyond his flurries and his fast combinations, he is a brittle fighter. Mayweather will pick him apart. This is a wasted fight before mayweather's 2015 announced retirement. He should be ending it on a high note, not fighting inferior fighters.

If Manny beats Rios (which he will) then that should be the next fight. There is no reason at this point the fight can't happen. Manny is going to take a pay cut, do drug testing and everything Floyd wants. Now, Floyd is saying its not possible to do business with Top Rank. Thats bull shit. Pacqauio can do what he wants so if this fight doesn't happen in 2014, im not buying a fight ever again.
