Just booked a grand suite for October of 2022. My girlfriend and I both turn fifty next year and this is a surprise trip for her. I used to work as an entertainer on NCL. This is my first cruise since leaving the industry and her first cruise ever. Also my first time on Royal Caribbean. Very excited.

Can someone confirm if RC is like Carnival when you only need a birth certificate when boarding?? Does it matter the ports you go to when one a closed loop cruise? Thx
You need either A) a Passport or B) A Birth certificate + a driver's license/State ID
Are the bars expensive
Depends what you defy expensive. In my opinion yes. But most people do the pre paid drink packages.
Is there a cigar lounge?
No, the only smoking area was outside located on deck 4 on this video. I cant remember if smoking was accepted in the Casino.
There was a cigar lounge when I went spring break 2019. They turned it into another library 🤦🏿♂️

Still buffet, no longer self serve. Will have servers to put what you want on your plate.
