Liam and Sam in campaign 2 is a really good example of roleplaying characters that don't want to be part of a group initially. It also helped that Matt made a scenario to force them all to work together.
@@beepboprobotsnot3748 i remember a little scene after the initial iron shepherds confrontation, Caleb was saying how he was gonna do all this stuff to get jester, fjord an yasha back and Nott asked him why he wanted to do all that, why was he so intent on going after someone... what emotional ties kept him from just walking away and even though he didn't outright say it, both he an Nott knew why he was so passionate about getting his family back.
I love that Caleb was kind of right in this scene looking back, sticking with the M9 did draw attention to him and led him to Trent, but also being with the M9 steeled him for the confrontation and helped him not lose his shit, something that, at this point, he thought was impossible.
@@jlokison Liam states in the post campaign episode that yes he did have a much darker, more isolated path for Caleb but the M9, specifically jester kept pulling him towards the path he ended with.
Hearing Nott's voice from this is crazy 😂 it's changed so much! It has more of a british undertone here, but where I am it's just absolutely screaming and high pitched beauty 💀
It's hard to do cheat on Molly's animation cause he doesn't have pupils. So his pose is more elaborate and I hate it TwT (But love you Molly nonetheless)
honestly, I think that made the animation more 'real'. I feel like Molly would be a person that gesticulates much and has a more active body language bc of his circus background. But I can understand that that makes the animating more difficult 😅

Fuck, this makes me want to re-watch C2 so much (honestly, from hearing Liam as Caleb). You did a beautiful job animating them all, ESPECIALLY Molly. SO dynamic! So in character!

I'm watching Campaign 2 now and seeing this really highlights how Nott's accent changed from vaguely British to something completely American. I don't think I noticed when it happened. But I'm at Episode 85 now and she sounds nothing like this anymore.

Yeah... About that, the files were corrupted halfway and the only way to recover it is by manually finding and exporting each layer and time it again. At that time, I was already animating for 6 hours. I was exhausted and didn't notice it 😅

God, early campaign 2 was so good. I mean, they threw together their campaign 1 characters in an afternoon thinking a one-shot was all they were going to use them for but they all really flexed their creative muscles for the Mighty Nein knowing they were going to be sitting in those characters for hundreds of hours. Watching them all clearly enjoying keeping secrets from eachother was great. The campaign 3 characters are all kinda open books in comparison.
Originally I thought doing investigation in a small town is kinda boring, but looking back at the beginning of C2 after all those had happened, I miss those leisure awkward chatting moment when everyone is still together… Goddamnit I miss Mollymauk Tealeaf.

Nott was kinda right here. The amount of encounters they've had with people throughout the campaign, a fair amount of them didn't even register her presence until she spoke.
The funny thing, regarding the "little sister thing", is that Travis [Fjord] (at least when I listened to it) didn't misword his deception; everyone just misinterpreted what he said in the exact same way.
We all know that Nott got significantly less British as the show went on, but is it just me, or did Caleb get significantly more German as the show went on??? (Also, this animatic is gorgeous! I love the way you draw all of them!)
Because Caleb can finally reveal the fact that he is Zemnian while Nott can finally be her own selft instead of A british English speaking goblin clan.
