Cad had to tune everyone up for quite a while to think if he could come up with a ghost he did not want to punch. that is a pretty good fit for a 9. incase you are unfamiliar a 9 is below average.

Tuning out is something that most people do to focus, and the abscense of that skill is something regularly related to disorders that affect mental development, per example, ADHD. Being smart isn't being able to multitask, as tuning out is not a sign of being "below average". Those are two different skills, that should be employed on different moment. You don't want to multitask while writing an essay, as you don't want to tune out when playing a sport.

This just shows how Taliesin is on a WHOLE other level! That bit is so.. I mean, it is underplayed, takes him out of the conversation and just has the best timing. I mean, Sam Riegel is funny. Shock-value and asshole-factor. But this.. SO GOOD.
Sam is definitely a "loud" comedian, and its amazing. But Travis, Tal, and Liam are definitely amazing with "quiet" comedy. They make some great under their breath comments that sometimes takes eagle ears to notice in the chaos, but also do facial expressions / body language really well. Edit: 1:47 Beau: he was definitely living in the middle of a cemetery Fjord: its ok, you don't have to tell me any more, I'll just imagine the worst possible ....
What makes it even better is thats what Caduceus’s player (Tailson) did irl. He starred off into space and had to be snapped back by the other players.

Trying to answer rhetorical questions, tuning out while I formulate the best response, waiting for a space in the conversation to put in my two cents while also desperately trying to hold onto said response, and ultimately saying my thing after everyone else has moved onto another topic. I've never listened to Critical Role and I have absolutely no context for the characters, but this immediately sucked me in. You managed to make this conversation feel so real, the characters really came to life for me! I love their designs, too- considering the only information I have about them is how you draw them and their voices, I feel like they fit super well- and your art style v v much! Even without context, the sequence with Caduceus made me laugh out loud.
Funnily enough, hes right. Cemetary pretty much just refers to a place where people are purposefully laid to rest. Graveyard was traditionally used to describe one that was an attatched or integral part of a buildings property (almost exclusively a church, irl).
