Also the news sheds some light on Homestuck and Viz's new... arrangement. James also mentions something about a new website or not.

I geniunely like how the "main cast" is shown as actual adults when they are viewed by the kids, but when we are just seeing them normally they look the same way we've always seen them. A very good artistic touch
I like the Omega kids, but the more they are involved the more I'm reminded of what a missed opportunity their names are :(
Names are such an important part of homestuck, and half of the Omega kids just reuse the name's of other characters. I'm not a fan of Yiffy's name, but i can't deny that it is a very Homestuck style joke. Harry Anderson is great tho. A funny reference, and it's a nice sounding name as well

Hmm. Well Harry doesn't like the limelight, so that would mean a passive class, like Sylph. As for Aspect? For some reason I think Blood, though I'm not sure why.

i really hope they still make the physical book with the commentary, the collectability and archiving of homestuck physically was so neat and great and i hope they can at least finish Act 5 physically
Honestly, Harry might be a Knight of Space... what with weilding creativity so much
There is something very important when assigning a class and aspect. They do not tell us everything about the character, especially when they have to grow into their role. The sheriff motif may not be a reflection of Harry being a Knight but someone who is to be the protagonist. I say this because that while Terezi may have been themed around law that highlighted her Aspect which was Mind and how she used it with her Class. Plus, Knights seen in Homestuck aren't just protectors but actively hiding something about themselves. Like with Karkat and Dave hiding their feelings and Latula with her lacking a sense of smell and not wanting to be looked down on.
Sheriffs are typically one of Several types of protagonists seen in Cowboy and Romance movies who are typically leaders and important characters. Which would that Harry be taking a far more direct role as leader appose what happen to the beta kids who did mostly their own thing thanks to never being together for most of the comic. Which if true would land him directly across John with the blood aspect, as Harry Anderson didn't grow up stuck at home like John and Roxy did. He when out and made connections with others thanks to his Parents making him far more aware of his relationships with others.
Also, it entirely possible that Harry, Tarvros, Virssy, and Yiffy may not class made for them due to them being born not made. At the most may just awaken their aspect.

Jen, Voxus is still doing the Let's Read Homestuck to this day. They're just really, really, REALLY slow about it because they're all adults with lives now and the editing required is kind of insane for one person to handle. God bless 'em, they promised they'd get it done or they'd straight up say if they gave up, and it looks like they still haven't given up yet.

i think the ending panel was vrissy mind controlling tavvy. thats why her eyes are 8-fold and harry is kinda scared/surprised. probably vrissy has some kind of hidden plot with vriska, or just making her own.

anyway, the main problem is we don't see why it's all happening, it's not like it's a slice of life situation, not paradox space, so hs2 story should have an endgame hs had (beat the game)

How is Harry Vrissy’s uncle again?
Roxy is Rose's ectomom, so through a really tenuous set of links with one being entirely social and another being entirely ectobiological, Harry is something like a half-uncle to Vrissy, since Rose and Harry are, weirdly enough, half siblings.
Speaking of weird family shenanigans, I originally thought the beta kids had a weirder relationship with each other than they really did. I thought, if the parents were labelled A, B, C, and D, then:
John was the AB child,
Jade was the CB child,
Rose was the CD child, and
Dave was the AD child.
Which would make them all half siblings with each other with the exception of Karkat's now even more cursed shipping grid's pairs (who do not share any DNA and so are completely unrelated if you ignore the fact that they share two half-siblings with each other, that are supposed to be shipped together btw). These pairs would not actually be related, and a child between John and Rose would be related in some unnamed way with a child between Jade and Dave. They'd share 1/4 of their genes with each other, so they'd be about as related to each other as, weirdly enough, a pair of half-siblings.

Gonna be honest, I really disliked this update. I don't care much for the Omega kids on principle, but this sort of showcased to me that they really are nothing more than repurposed character traits from dead people to force familiarity. Also, the horrific tragedy that is Tavros being in a throuple seems... mildly inappropriate at best.
