I like that the cutting plates are longer than most, but I am confused by the 2 different thicknesses of the cutting plates? I hoped you’d explain it. Why 3 plates in initial purchase, but only 2 in replacement packs? Do you ever use 2 thick plates together? 2 thin? Why aren’t both cutting plates of equal thickness?
@@AimeeFleck so the thin plate will need to be replaced even though the top thick plate will still be in good shape since it isn’t cut into? And they sell the replacement plates in a set of a thick and a thin? Sounds like you will end up with excess thick plates ultimately. I appreciate your response but I can’t help but feel the thin/thick plate size is a marketing idea that increases cost to the consumer. Are you a Honey Bee rep or a consumer like me? Obviously, without further explanation behind the reason/benefit of this design, I’m disappointed in a company I love.
@@debbiehaney2467 I’m just a consumer 🥰 I mean I guess you could cut into the thicker plate but in my mind the thinner one is meant to be the one you cut into. I agree it’s kinda strange/ I don’t think any of the other smaller cutters have this type of plate system. I’d like to know the official explanation too.
@@AimeeFleck it’ll be interesting to see if Honey Bee Stamps gives us an explanation. You’d think if a 2-size plate system has a distinct advantage, allowing for abilities other mini cutters don’t have, they’d explain and demonstrate it.
Best mini die cut machine, hands down. Love mine!!
I agree! I have tried other brands and was so excited when Melissa got this one for Honey Bee!!
I love this mini cutter- it is so handy
I think so too!! I keep on the side of my desk and pull it out for sentiments and small images!! Thank you for watching!

The thin plate is the one that you cut into.
The thick one is to top it.
