    Hi Leah, I just wanted to thank you, you are one of the best instructors on UA-cam! I’ve been a “simple” beaded for years, and I just recently started doing beadweaving, something I never thought I’d do! I have a really hard time following written patterns and rely on watching videos to learn. I’ve always loved the spiral beading, and now I’m ready to try it for the first time! Please keep the video tutorials coming! 🤗 Danielle from CA

    I'm a beginner bead weaver and I've watched several UA-cam videos on how to create the spiral but I could never follow their directions. The problem was that either a certain level of beading expertise was assumed or they held their work too far away from their camera and I simply couldn't see what they were doing. I thought, oh well, learning how to create the spiral is something I'll have to forget about. But thanks to your fabulous tutorial I now understand perfectly how to make the spiral! Thank you SO MUCH! I'm sure I'm not the only beginner whose been frustrated trying to find a clear and thoroughly explained tutorial on the spiral and I hope they find THIS, yours! You rock!!!

    Thanks for this Leah. I just started (yes, three days before Christmas!!!) icicle ornaments using the spiral technique and the way you’re doing it is slightly different as far as going through the core beads...but I am going to use your technique as it seems easier. Awesome! I love learning different ways to get to the same end result. And yes, I’d love to see a version with embellishments!

    • @leahwyckoff4791
      @leahwyckoff4791 4 роки тому +1

      Hi Raymond! You certainly can. Once your rope is at the right length, simply put the beginning and end together and you'll see how they fit together pretty seemlessly! Then you just have to sew them together by looping into the last 4 core beads on the first side. Make sure to loop back around several times to make it strong!

    I start 4 core beads 3 on the other. (Repeat) But after you say to go through the core to line them up .
    I see your going through underneath the core?
    Mine... has the thread going over the bead . Sorry hope that makes sense

    Hi again Leah I have tried again to do the endings of a spiral rope without using a clasp and followed your instructions and going through the last four core beads BUT even putting the two ends together I just can't seem to get the outside spiral to look like the rest of the rope there always seems to be a bigger space in the core section making it look off like a broken spiral if you know what I mean.
    When going through the last four core beads at the other end the beginning of the rope should I have been adding a core bead and a set of four beads again on my thread before going through the four core beads..Please help me with this. Would it be possible to do a small video really close up to finish a spiral rope with this closure. ? Thanking you Patricia
