Actually , what attracted me to this video was the dignified presence of Sundari Amma. I thought she would be doing most of the talking, and would be sharing her many rich, varied and deep knowledge of medicinal plants, her observations of life, about her youth , her home , even muthashi stories. It was a joy to listen to her. The way she spoke Malayalam was fascinatingly pure. No anglicized , stilted accent , but one which gave an ancient feel to the times she was referring to, spoken in a slow, calming way. Request you to make a separate video , where she does the talking and explaining, the many aspects of our cultural heritage and home made remedies. After all, the knowledge of the uses and benefits. herbal remedies, and traditional cures are all extracted from people of her generation. The depth of their knowledge cannot be matched by 21st century textbooks or University degrees. The benefits of each of those grains ,rhizhomes, medicinal leaves and roots should be explained slowly, supported by anecdotal material It was done too fast and too condensed to grasp anything.
