- Today we will travel from the Damascus Gate to the Mount of Olives. We will see a view on Jerusalem from the Augusta Victoria Tower, Go through the Arab neighborhood, see a view on the Temple Mount from the Mount of Olives, go to the Tomb of the Prophets, go to the Church "And Jesus Wept" and we will end at the Garden of Getsemane.

I’m a mom of three daughters aged 17, 14, 11. My husband goes to work at 3 am works all day and comes home and goes to bed pretty early. Im alone most the day while the girls are in school. My health is very bad and I don’t leave the house hardly at all. It’s my dream to go to Israel. I appreciate that I can see the things of my dreams from my home. Bless you!

I agree. He must be one of the most healthy men in Israel. I don't think most people could keep up with him on a real tour.
My wife and I toured the tombs during our visit last year. We were just walking around the area and accidentally found them. The man that lives there gave us a nice tour and candles. He doesn't charge but a donation of at least $10 Euros is expected.

I was in Israel about 6 years ago, I was so surprised that this bus station was right in front of the crucifixion sight (Golgotha). I didn't realize it til I was at the he Garden Tomb right next door.
I thought the view from the tower wasn't less beautiful because it wasn't a clear day. Thank you. I was in Jerusalem once. Since then I had an accident and am paralyzed. One often doesn't realize the blessing God gives in our ability to walk, go up steps etc. I'm glad to experience Jerusalem again through Israel MyChannel.

What a blessing it is to go along and learn all about the history of the Bible. The tombs were amazing, I really liked the man's story about his family caretaking this special place.

The Augusta Victoria hospital was named after the Empress Augusta Victoria, wife of German Emperor Wilhelm II. Her name means "Great Victory," but she was a mild-mannered housewife mainly interested in in children, kitchen, and church. She had seven children, six of them sons. Thank you for this tour. Obviously, the Muslims in Jerusalem aren't interested in preserving the building's original Christian character and design.
