富士総合火力演習にオスプレイが初登場

- 陸上自衛隊は28日、国内最大の実弾射撃訓練「富士総合火力演習（総火演）」を静岡県の東富士演習場で行った。離島奪還を想定した場面ではV22オスプレイが初登場。中国が軍事的圧力を強める南西諸島防衛を念頭に侵攻阻止から奪還まで一連の手順を確認した。
演習は岸信夫防衛相らが現地を視察。離島の沿岸部に見立てた演習領域にネットワーク電子戦システム（NEWS）が展開され、敵の位置を把握するとともに通信を妨害。続けて精密誘導弾などで敵艦に見立てた山肌へ射撃が行われた。
一方、V22オスプレイは轟音をあげて着陸し、水機団員が攻撃ヘリコプターの援護射撃を受けて地上から離島奪還作戦を実施。さらに増援部隊として投入された10式戦車や19式装輪自走155ミリ榴弾砲など主力装備が一斉に砲撃を開始すると、標的や山肌に次々と実弾を命中させていった。
演習には戦車・装甲車36両、火砲53門、実弾約57トン（約10億6千万円相当）を使用。今年度の参加隊員は約3300人で、新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大により今年も一般公開は中止されたが、インターネットによるライブ配信を行った。（映像は代表撮影）

横田でオスプレイの展示飛行を生で見て、即座に国土防衛に必須の装備であると確信しました。それくらい、これまでのヘリとは一線を画す性能を備えていると一目見てわかりました。

Tilt-rotor operations are now an integral part of western forces today. We should not be surprised if the next generation is another tilt-rotor vice the pusher prop on the coaxial rotor.
オスプレイの配備の何が凄いのか。うるさい👂⚡はっきり言えば、日本は防衛省なんて言葉ばかりで、Kからミサイル発射されて、落とせるのか？今の日本だけでは厳しいのでは？決断力、判断、足りないだらけで守れるとでも。平和ボケしすぎてるからだと思っています。
陸自の機体なのに灰色なのは珍しいよね。かっこいい。
対離島上陸作戦への使用を想定してますからね。
空自のC-1輸送機は緑と茶の迷彩でしたが、C-2輸送機は灰色の迷彩になっています。
航空機の運用方法や、それに適した迷彩の考え方が変わってきているのかもですね。
実は海自艦艇も、地味ながらカラーリングがより視認性が低くなるように変わってきていたりしますよ。
来年は、一般の観覧が再開されると嬉しいな。

Osprey debuts at Fuji Firepower Review
On the 28th, the Ground Self-Defense Force held the largest live-fire training in Japan, "Fuji Firepower Exercise (total fire performance)" at the Higashifuji Exercise Area in Shizuoka Prefecture. The V22 Osprey first appeared in a scene that was supposed to recapture a remote island. China confirmed a series of steps from invasion prevention to recapture with the defense of the Nansei Islands intensifying military pressure in mind.
Japan produces the best quality steel in the whole of Asia and they do not copy unlike the neighbor .

What we see are galoshes of the 60-70s, Cobra of the first modifications of the 80s, old F-16 or F-2 Mitsubishi, old Chinook of the 60-70s. I’ll probably keep silent about uh-1...
The reason Japan wanted Osprey, is because it can behave as a prop plane, but also a helicopter as well, it means that basically Japan can fly men rather rapidly down to southern islands, and it doesn't need a landing strip, and because it turns into a prop plane it's actually a lot faster than the Chinook, I think the Chinook maxes out at around 300km/h, and the Osprey goes much faster at about 560km/h. So it's bordering on double nearly. The reason these are useful is because they can be flown very low, just a mere 40-50m off the ground, making it very hard for Chinese radar to see them, because of obstruction from earth curvature. As well as not needing a landing strip, this is because China would fire large missiles at landing strips to damage them and disable normal planes or jets from being able to land, this is also why Japan specifically wanted the F-35B variant as well.
Japan spends it's money wisely to buy the exact types of equipment to combat a Chinese attempted takeover of Japan's southern remote islands.
The development of the new type 12 missile is perfect for taking out Chinese ships from a long distance, and the newly acquired Tomahawk missiles which will be housed in Japanese destroyers give the ability for Japan to heavily strike Chinese land targets.
The Japanese also have a future plan and budget set out to integrate vertical launching capabilities within it's submarines, to fire cruise missiles. The goal is for the submarines to be able to strike land targets from a long range.
This all makes Taiwan safer as well. Because the stronger Japan is militarily, the less likely China is to consider an invasion of Taiwan. Of course China hate every Japanese military development, but that's expected as it lowers the chance of Chinese belligerent success.
