Great video! Rock Point Provincial Park on the coast of Lake Erie in Canada is full of chert. It's everywhere! You just have to know how to recognise it.
So beautiful where you guys are this is an awesome channel. I love it. Have found some stuff in my local river too here in Scotland...flint...jet, not local...and some stone age tools. Edit~ Wow! I never seen flint glimmer like that before either and at the end...nice Eagle.

Wow. We’ve got that all over the creek in Arkansas where I live. In the creek where I live they’ll let me get as much as I can handle. The creek is a glacial creek with huge bluffs on one side, and the flats have so many Native artifacts, it’s all along that creek. It once was navigatable, and still is right now. Only time it slows down is during the summer where they’ve piled gravel in across the creek to raise it so a old lady could drive across it to her house on the side of the mountain. I plan on going on possibly tomorrow and looking for more stones now that I had to finally go buy some new Muck boots.
Have you ever considered using wooden tools instead of antler or copper? Probably not as durable but more easily accessible. Also, what do you typically look for in rocks to test? I get what to look for when you test but I doubt you test every single rock you come across, right?
Hit the thumbs up button please :)
As always enjoyed watching thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks Missouri

I test the “suspiciously out of place” rocks lol
