    if you hate sand fleas or biting insects get some Avon Skin So Soft and rub it on your skin. Fleas, ticks, mosquitoes hate that stuff. Why is some chert OK and some chert not OK to use? What are you seeing?

    • @Wildernessquestoutdoors
      @Wildernessquestoutdoors 4 роки тому

      some is weathered and damaged, not useable. It turns to dust when you hit it.

      Vision Quest Outdoors Is chert found in layers of limestone rocks (RR ballast) useable ? What happens to raw chert when it is baked?

    • @Wildernessquestoutdoors
      @Wildernessquestoutdoors 4 роки тому

      G Kess depends on the chert, some cooked chert turns colors and becomes easier to knap

    Im enjoying your vids so much . Still , can i beg you to say Onondaga correctly ? I cringe every time i hear Ononda-gua . Sorry , cant help it . Its wonderful to watch you and youre giving people great lessons on NOT LITTERING . There really ARE so many selfish and clueless idiots out there . PS are you careful when you select cobbles to knap ? Where im at in the Hudson valley , its not too unusual to find that a cobble was once a native grinder or hammer stone and should be preserved . Js . Im lovin everything you do , great work 😁😁😁

      If I find anything that’s an artifact, I take a picture and leave it where it is.
      In my newer videos I’ve lost the Long Island accent and say Onondaga correctly lol.
