Zero storylines, no great promos, no larger than life personalities, zero charisma, zero attitude, their idea is pretty much dumb, lets have two jobbers fight for the sake of who's the best,I mean who gives a crap since the shit is scripted anyway . Storyline makes wrestling, thats some of the things wwe did to take wcw off business .The Attitude era didn''t have best technical matches but rather extreme aggression, you didn't need Austin, Rock, HHH, Taker etc to jump around the ropes like jobbers or cruiserweights , what made Austin vs the Corporation Iconic was the storyline not some stupid matches that involves 20 finishers.
@@Shockkings0714 Rock and Austin matches were pure chaos that's what makes great tv just compare the crowds nobody was silent and just applauding during a Rock and Austin match they were loosing their shit bro it's not a real sport so can we stop acting like it is it's a tv show and pro wrestlers are suppose to be entertainers if I wanted to watch real competition I'll just watch UFC.
My opinion is this: Wrestling's been a thing for a very long time and each culture has a different style. The USA made it mainstream with TV storylines in 80s. I don't care what wrestling looks like outside of the USA, as long as each promotion stays what it was when it became successful or at its peak. Like WWE is "Sports Entertainment" and NJPW is "Pro Wrestling". Don't force one style onto another. Two different "genres", two different audiences. Just like with movies and games. If you like Final Fantasy, you can't cry about GTA not having RPG elements. Also, whoever is in charge of creative should know what their promotion is and was about in the first place. Know who THE audience is.
Exactly because Japanese wrestling existed for a long time even during wwe’s golden era and attitude era, and in the golden era they use to work together! but to say it ruined wrestling is a bit of a stretch when wrestling reached its prime when Japanese wrestling been around. But I admit the influence in today’s age and on the western side has been part of the downfall for modern wrestling. But I would say tony khan and triple h are the ones that killed wrestling if anything.

One thing I know is a negative is everyone kicking out of deadly, monumental, impossible moves. 2 outcomes , 1 wrestling moves lose credibility and 2 no finisher is impressive or believable. Japanese wrestling used to be awesome when they had Antonio Inoki, Hulk Hogan, The Great Muta, and a few others in New Japan. Nowadays, Japanese wrestling is ruined by those internet geeks and it's not awesome anymore. Sorry to disagree with you, Japanese Wrestling didn't ruined American Wrestling, the internet geeks ruined both. Sure it's cool to see Puroresu-style wrestling in American wrestling when it's done by some mid-carders and cruiserweight and light heavyweight wrestlers, but Puroresu-style wrestling doesn't work on heavyweight and super heavyweight wrestlers who are in the main event scene in American wrestling. Puroresu and Lucha Libre styles of wrestling in American wrestling works with the cruiserweight division, but not with the majority of the heavyweight division.
