Hi Leslie, just came across your great video, brilliant!. Did you ever make a video for using the paper across the centre? My card size is 6" wide by 8.25" long. Would your method work for this size card?
Bernie Doyle yes it will work for your card. Start with a 12x12 paper and put your card on the diagonal. I have not made a video about it. Yet. My father was diagnosed with cancer, so my crafting got put on hold. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and comment on my video! I really appreciate it! Happy crafting! 💙💙
Bernie Doyle thank you for the kind wishes! We are doing okay. The chemo has caused dementia, which is more troublesome, since the cancer is in a temporary remission of sorts. Thank you again! 💙💙💙
Hi Leslie, Thanks for the great video! I have a question for you...will I score at the same marks 3 1/4” and 1 1/2” for my envelope which is a square 5 1/2”?
Stephanie Busler that’s a great question! I hate to say yes until I know the exact size of your card. I am happy to help you! Can you tell me the size of your card and how thick it is? Thanks for watching and commenting!!!!
margaret goyette it is the width of the card times 2 plus one inch. So that means 3 1/4 + 3 1/4 = 6 1/2 then add an inch getting 7 1/2. I am so sorry you misunderstood. Had you continued watching you could have learned the easier “cheat sheet” way that I mentioned with no measuring involved. Thank you for watching and commenting.
margaret goyette thank you for commenting and making sure i did know that I made an error. I really do apologize for the mistake. I made the video years ago and I can only hope that you realize I’m not a professional, and ask that you forgive errors, allow for nervousness when creating videos, and consider possibilities disabilities when watching other people’s videos. I know you may not watch mine anymore, but I do sincerely thank you for coming to watch my video and for commenting to correct me. 💙
Wow good video!

Great video tutorial, thank you Leslie. Do you know how much postage is needed to mail your beautiful card in the envelope you made?

That first measurement looked like 3 3/4 ,not 3 1/4. that's how you got 7 1/2!! must be new math!!
Good lord. 3 1/4 + 3 1/4 = 6 1/2 not 7 1/2. And that is where I left this video.

You literally said 7 1/2 plus 1 inch = 8 1/2.
