Thanks for the video! It's always fascinating to watch these vlog videos. Especially the ones with you and your friends visits to the railways in them. It's great to know what railways still have Steam Engines and other old classes there. I wish I could visit them someday. Anyways keep up the fantastic work!
I haven't been since I was a kid first time was probably 2005 and its just as I remember, I mean literally the same... And I wouldn't have it any other way.
I felt your pain Max. When I went to the NRM last year, I was super stoked to see Boxhill. I had it on my bucket list to see a Terrier (living up north makes it a lot harder) and luckily for me there was one not too far off. Then I couldn’t find it on my own, and then a staff member told me it wasn’t on display at the moment. When they’re done with the renovations, I hope they put Boxhill in a place more people can go see it.
Late update: The NRM must’ve heard my complaints and have now put Boxhill in the great hall. I’ve made sure to go and visit him, and like all Terriers it was very smartly decorated.
15:58 little explination as no.55 fan here didn’t word this great, evening star was the last ever locomotive built by British rail to work by steam, and fun fact she actually was built at Swindon, meaning by technicality she is great western
Replica. The actual Rocket does still exist, although it looks completely different from when it was built EDIT: Nevermind, actually skipped to the timestamp and yeah that'd be it lol my bad
Really wanna go back to the KWVR at some point; I've recently got into The Railway Children and would love to see the ochre Pannier on display (or running but only if they keep it in the ochre livery). And the obligatory moment of silence for the National Railway Museum and the many needless renovations and changes. You can't go in the cabs, you can't sit inside the Shinkansen (or at least you couldn't when I went last September) and there are so many locos off limits that I like, including but not limited to: Gladstone, Rocket, Boxhill, the Midland Spinner, the Hughes Crab, the M7 and Henry Oakley.
Wow man that's sounds awesome and if i'm not wrong those engines are just like the characters from thomas & friends like spencer kenji stephen stepney emily and neville you know wow that's sounds really incredible dude so incredible indeed
14:34 I make a guess but in the next vlog, you got to see something also made in Britain but even bigger (been waiting for that to come out and it appears patience is about to be rewarded).
I don't know why it took me this long but, it only occurred to me the other day that 'The Lady Armaghdale' wasn't a one-off design and was actually from a batch of several other locomotives. 😅
For some reason I wasn’t particularly satisfied with this video for some reason. Not saying it was bad…it’s just that there were some re-used clips, but anyways. Thanks for making this video and I’ll be seeing you at the Awdry Extravaganza 3
Sorry it wasn't as enjoyable. When this was first filmed I put out a video explaining where we went but not the vlog as I knew I didn't have time to edit it at that point. FINALLY got round to it now! Next vlogs will be from Australia. See you at Talyllyn!
No haha, this just took a long time for me to get around to editing! I had used some clips to do a run through of the trip when it was first filmed as that was quicker to edit. Next vlogs will be more new stuff as it were.
nobody is talking about how thomas is literally in costant pain in the thumbnail
Why is this cursed 8:21
yea it's so cursed, it looks like it has a face
13:00 - I prefer to call it Mint & Chocolate livery because it sounds delicious
Mint and Chocolate is a quite under appreciated livery with only a few engines preserved in the livery.
Thanks for the video! It's always fascinating to watch these vlog videos. Especially the ones with you and your friends visits to the railways in them. It's great to know what railways still have Steam Engines and other old classes there. I wish I could visit them someday.
Anyways keep up the fantastic work!
Thanks very much, I'm glad you enjoy them.

19:36 pause PAPYRUS IS A TRAIN?!?!?
In the distance...
NYEH HEH HEEEEEEEEH!!!
paps is also a speed record holder, being the second engine to be clocked 100 mph after flying scotsman
Wow very high quality video! I love it :) I love the railway children stuff and that Scottish engine and a pug :)
17:39 I appreciated the Elton John reference.

Boxhill is just better than everything else
18:00. The Stirling Single is the only reason i wanna go to the NRM in York
I was at the worth valley railway in the summer of 2021
8:30. year and a half ago when I face revealed (by accident) at that station
Love all the jokes, and references. My personal favorite being the Rocket Man song when you filmed the Rocket.
15:58 little explination as no.55 fan here didn’t word this great, evening star was the last ever locomotive built by British rail to work by steam, and fun fact she actually was built at Swindon, meaning by technicality she is great western
15:09 Y'know I think I'm gonna start calling that engine Moto Moto from now on.
21:50 Looks like you’re with the real life Barry the Rescue Engine.
23:12 I wonder why that happened?
Nothing beats riding behind a real steamy.
the gnr stirling single is my favorite steam engine of all time and i was lucky enough to see it wen i went to the national railway museum in York
The basis of Emily
My favourite part of this is the museum
11:10 That's the front of Arkwright's from Open All Hours, but remained Gresley's? "G-G-Gresley, f-f-fetch you cloth!"
Thanks for going to the worth valley railway, i go there every steam gala
13:28 Is that THE Rocket or a replica?
Replica. The actual Rocket does still exist, although it looks completely different from when it was built
EDIT: Nevermind, actually skipped to the timestamp and yeah that'd be it lol my bad
@@ARG0T Yeah, the pristine condition replica was seen a little later in the video.
10:37 Oh look, it's me. :P
Great video, Max.
4:26 *Diesel smoke, not steam.
10:02 "I wanted an Atlantic and that *Whistles* Son of a *Whistles* Sent Me That!"

2:48 That's exactly what I said when I first saw it.😂
4:11 OH WAIT SC RUFFEY IS REAL?
Wow man that's sounds awesome and if i'm not wrong those engines are just like the characters from thomas & friends like spencer kenji stephen stepney emily and neville you know wow that's sounds really incredible dude so incredible indeed
Wow, so many Real Life Thomas Engines & References/Easter Eggs
Can't be fun doing TnT with an 1899 steam loco and a Class 20

14:30 gives you an accurate representation of just how big american locomotives are lmao
Im also going to the KWVR next weekend to see the flying scotsmann
2:01 Standard 4? Thats a 8 tank
It is called A Standard 4 Tank.
There isn’t a Thing as a ‘8 Tank’
Edit: 8xxxx is its number
14:34 I make a guess but in the next vlog, you got to see something also made in Britain but even bigger (been waiting for that to come out and it appears patience is about to be rewarded).
I was there just before the station reopened
I don't know why it took me this long but, it only occurred to me the other day that 'The Lady Armaghdale' wasn't a one-off design and was actually from a batch of several other locomotives. 😅
Amazing video, keep it up.
well Thomas made a member of the NRM in the books so that makes perfect sense
When I saw 87001 in the NRM, I suddenly felt very old 😥😂
You came to Yorkshire but didn't go to Middleton Railway to see the loco the Rev named Percy
17:37 Hey there’s Nevill
Wow, The Pug is over 120 years old.

You're right, the Pannier is now under overhaul. This was filmed right before luckily.
Why the thumbnail look like they gonna beat up Thomas? Like he looks like he’s about to get robbed
So shed 17 is cannon in real life
where is Neville's tender?
Did you go and see Bullet Train with Brad Pitt last year, good movie if ask me.
...Is this a re-upload?
No haha, this just took a long time for me to get around to editing! I had used some clips to do a run through of the trip when it was first filmed as that was quicker to edit. Next vlogs will be more new stuff as it were.
