Law is Light - Phase 05 - Murder

Phase 5 of 'Law is Light: Legal Discussion to educate the general public' will be on ‘Murder’ with the participation of an esteemed lawyer on the 01/05/2021 (1st of May 2021) from 6.00 pm onwards.

"Good evening, everyone! We warmly welcome you to this legal discussion on 'Murder' a part of the Phase 5 of 'Law is Light' of the Pro Bono Committee of Law Students' Association of Sri Lanka.
We are honoured to have with us today, Mr. Saliya Peris, the President of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka, Presidents Counsel, former Commissioner of the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka, former Chairman of the Office on Missing Persons, the Chairman of the CfPS Law School and an eminent and well experienced practicing lawyer in the fields of Criminal law, Public law and Fundamental Rights Law.
We are expecting to discuss the questions received by us from the general public about 'Murder' today in this discussion.
