- Tennessee comes Together in this episode of Horse Rescue Heroes. Tawnee and Jason visit Outlaw Equine Rescue and Sanctuary in Crossville, Tennessee for a day of filming and mentoring. Roxi and William are working extremely hard, and it shows! They have embraced the Full Circle of Life Horse Shelter philosophy and are excited to continue doing so in their community.
The people, animals and events seen in this reality TV show are not paid actors, and are real people reacting in real events. Some events may have been dramatized for effect.

Horse Plus Humane Society is great. Love watching their videos. Some are really heart wrenching. The shape of so many they rescue. The ones that have to be Humanely euthanized, which if former owners really cared, they should have had done, instead of sending them to slaughter to suffer if not rescued, just for people to eat the meat.
That last shot of you going down the road with the fall leaves was breathtaking!! Good job Jason and Tawnee!!!

Great show Jason and Tawnee. I had tears in my eyes in the opening scenes. Seeing you were documenting so many places rescuing horse/animals. 18 months ago I rescued 2 horse. They'd been together 13 years and they were under threat of separation, or being sent off for dog tucker. A common occurence here in New Zealand. When they arrived they were distraught and the gelding was grossly thin and angry. There had been an attempt by the previous owner to maintain them, but he'd been absent for 10 months from their lives. I took my time and broiught them back to a healthy weight, moreover, I gave them back a sense of Themselves. Their self esteem rocketed and the bond between us grew into one of love and horsey affection. They have their days of injury, choking episodes, and other incidents, but I bring them through every time, and they acknowledge what Iam able to do for them. Very grateful animals when you speak Equine. 🙂

Oh boy, Outlaw is SOOOOO ambitious, and hard working! After the workshop they hit the ground running....what a lovely property they purchased, those swales and a creek, and a really big barn. Love the tortoise, and the llamas too. Pleased to see neighborly visiting, building community that is being shared with us folks out here......LOVE from South Alabama...

Well filmed Jason and I agree that it is realistic to show these folks that they don't need to spend money getting film crews to promote the important work they do. Consistency of updates and involving supporters, being transparent and honest is the key.

I agree most citizens have no idea that racehorses, pets, and show horses to mustangs go to slaughter. If they were to see the slaughter process they would help stop it as well. Its so vulgar!😢😢

From wild, pet, or working to the action, to feed lot, to slaughter facilities.
Sadly it's a case of a necessary evil. You save what you can but because of irresponsible humans slaughter is how some are given peace. (In lieu of euthinaza)

When I adopted or sold horses, I started putting a letter in with their information with my contact info and another contact person. I wanted them to know I would be interested in buying the horse back at any time, no matter how old if they ever needed to part with it. Over the years I did buy back 3 of them in their later years. 2 of them were after their owner had died and the family was very grateful for the letter being with their registration papers so they didn't have to worry about what to do with them. The third didn't want the expense of the special needs of an old horse and their daughter was ready to move up a notch with a new one.

I'm so happy there are people like this giving their lives and their time to help these animals thank you thank you so much I did donate $5 because I live on a low income but I donate whenever I can to help any animal dog cat horse and I pray for you all often may God bless you provide you with all your needs to continue what you're doing you are so appreciated especially by The Animals.❤❤❤❤❤

I like how they have smaller amounts for fundraising. Most people can spare $10, where I've seen other rescues that ask $50, and that's a lot to ask for people this days. What a great rescue!! Although he won't admit it, my dog enjoyed watching you guys too!!😅😊

I've been following you guys for several years. I would Love to hang out with you. Used to go to Auctions in Miss. when I lived there. Bought 2 of my barrel horses there. My ex used to buy and sell horses and Tack. Did not like the killer buyers there, then, at all!!!

I applaud and support all of the horse and other animal rescuers out there!please keep up all your hard work. There is the other side. to this issue - the people who abuse, mistreat , neglect , abandon or indifferent to the suffering of the animals under their “care”. There need to be stronger and enforced penalties for their actions. At the least such persons should never be allowed control over any other animals. An even more entrenched problem is with institutions that profit or benefit from abuse. Few average citizens are aware that the US Dept of Agriculture’s Wildlife Services still uses cyanide “ bomb” devices to kill coyotes. In fact, Wildlife Services Division actually kills a lot of ‘nuisance’ wildlife.
Put the goats in the woods! Or pigs and cows; they will clearr a lot out

See if you can get the jail to help you train the horses that are ride able that way the in mates have a trade to use when they get out of jail and then the horses can get a new home quicker than you can do it one on one
