For sure

Absolutely! 👍
YES!!
Also Fair and Balanced!
A little more information ; a little more context and a whole bunch of not sensationalized blustering ; this is why i come here . Much respect .
and we are here for THAT!!!!
Thank you very much!
I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the non-clickbait titles, I have rarely even noticed the subject lines and just dive into the video, confident the information will be relevant, accurate and understandable. I support you on Patreon because this is something I want to encourage and support. I would encourage everyone that can, please drop a fiver in the can each month, more if you have it, so we can all enjoy this kind of real journalism.
Yes! I don’t even notice the fiver every month either. Cancelled two or three streaming services so I’m actually ahead 💲
I really appreciate the absence of video/audio of *the person who’s in the news a lot* .
True that 😊💙💙💙💯
I have said for years that this is the best comments section on UA-cam! Not only are most people kind, all kinds of backgrounds and professions are represented here!
I agree...if I'm having a tough time...the internet people remind me that there are a slew of decent human beings sharing the planet...we'll be ok. Positive vibes from New Hampshire, remember to be kind to each other and yourself during these trying times.
It also has international viewers & commentary.

There's a real sense of community here!
"I have said for years that this is the best comments section on UA-cam!"
and i am here to prove you wrong!
You all are appreciated
Glad we have you here for us
Stay well and remain positive
We hope Justin is well. You're doing GREAT Belle.
Yep, feel the love, dude. Hope you're busy doing what brings you satisfaction. Positive vibes from New Hampshire, remember to be kind to each other and yourself during these trying times.
Thanks Belle❣ For democracy & humanity's sake, VOTE BLUE💙
It's going to be nearly impossible to find a scarier story than this year's election cycle!
I'm glad this group of channels exist for a daily reality check.
Regarding the emergency kits: like my Mom used to say, it's better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
Alternative version: it's better to look at it than to look for it.
Medical-flavored variant: an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure
See what you get for getting real, telling the non-spun truth and caring about people?😅 Love you guys!
If and when Beau is up for it, I would love to see a conversation between you (Belle) and Deep Goat. Just for laughs and giggles. Thank you, Belle, for stepping in to keep this channel going. Love to you, Beau, and your amazing team!
An organization has a project they do with 3-5 graders called The Pillowcase Project. It is to teach them about personal emergency kits. It started after hurricane Katrina when shelter workers noticed college students arriving at shelters with pillowcases filled with their emergency supplies. The kids are also taught what to put in their pillowcase and when to grab it and when to leave it. They include information to be taken home to the parents to help create family emergency kits. It is a great project. If you have children in those grades I encourage you to ask your school to invite the organization in and provide it to your students ❤
The 94 earthquake in California was one mile from me. My camping gear and emergency kit were helpful.
Don't feel old, Belle, it's Jimmy Carter's birthday and he is turning 100❣
Yay, Jimmy Carter!! One of the most decent human being on the planet. Positive vibes from New Hampshire, remember to be kind to each other and yourself during these trying times.
I live in a red state in the Bible Belt. But even so, our local Democrat headquarters was the first we could find to help send needed supplies to upper East Tennessee and western North Carolina. We were so excited to be part of something that would help in this unimaginable disaster. Lots of these people were isolated by choice before the roads were washed out and Interstate Highways demolished. Some of them needed but would never have asked for assistance before the catastrophe. Please find a way to help. It will do so much for your mental health and pick up your spirits in these troubled times.
I so appreciate hearing about how people are stepping up to help. Since I can't go in person, I donated to World Central Kitchen. Food is love. 💙
Thank you!
I'd love to have an emergency kit I'd never have to use. Much better than having one I have to use often!
Like when a fire-extinguisher expires unused. Happy Day! Bake a cake! (with your new fire-extinguisher on-hand).
For a housewarming gift I gave my sister an emergency ladder... there was a 3 floor bedroom in her townhouse. Positive vibes from New Hampshire, remember to be kind to each other and yourself during these trying times.
Such a true statement
@@tammystockley-loughlin7680 For my son's housewarming I gave him a fire extinguisher for the house and the car, fire blankets and a gadget which helped breaking car windows and cutting seatbelts. Great minds think alike! 😀
Thanks startin with our German celebration today. I remember the surprising coming down of the wall in November 1989 well. So emotional!
Are you in Germany Ankem? It feels like you are just up the road from me. :-)
I've got an old "Time's atlas of the world" from '87. Absolute time machine. I was 8-10 when I begged my parents to buy an overpriced outdated atlas. 😂
I played the Scorpions' "Wind of Change" and Jesus Jones' "Right Here, Right Now" in your honor. Not sure if you know either, but they spring to mind whenever I think of that wall coming down.
I remember a friend of mine was in tears, her parents were both WW2 refugees who spoke German but were from other places, Danzig, Austria and we watched the people slightly afraid but willing to risk crossing into West Germany, looking back remembering people who died trying.
Astonishing.
@@victoriajohnson-parratt6975 Hi Victoria, yes 🌍
Thanks, Belle and crew, for the work, the time, the perspective, and the love. We look forward to all you do.
Thanks for the ride, Belle!
Hello, fellow Internet People... Hope you're all well--and if not, you're bold enough and brave enough to seek the help you need.
Excellent message. Positive vibes from New Hampshire, remember to be kind to each other and yourself during these trying times.

@@Erin-Thor
Good morning Erin-Thor!
Ray Bradbury and Asimov are what started me reading science fiction/fantasy all those years ago.
Awesome foundation! My initiation was thru Alan Dean Foster, then in 7th grade English we got Bradbury, and others. Later on, I explored Asimov, Ursula K. Le Guin (went to a book signing / reading once), and went on from there!
You guys are the BEST! I click here first every time.
I wasn’t sure how to help with the hurricane, which organization would stretch my little donation the farthest. Then I saw a video of World Central Kitchen handing out sandwiches in North Carolina. Problem solved.
Local restaurant owners had lent their facilities and their hands. Some local people saw what was going on, stopped and volunteered to help.
Oh I have used my emergency kit during hurricanes on multiple occasions. I have always hated how the news focuses on people who were not prepared rather than those that survived because they were. Both should get attention.
Very good point
I remember calling my Mom when Germany was reunited, was a day of thankfulness for all.
I would love to hear more from Dana & Bryon in any given subject, AI or not! 💙
The more the merrier!

Howdy, Miss Belle and the Internet folks! Happy Thursday.
There is NOTHING wrong with Basic Bradbury.
Agreed!
I would encourage people to check out the Public News Service in addition to the Beau channels. PNS is US based news, mostly by State and highlights their top stories, and will never be behind a paywall. They also have a segment called the Yonder Report that focuses on rural-based news, which lacks a national focus.
That's so cool. Thank you for telling us about the PNS.

Good morning Tammy! There's no better way to start the day than with Belle! No hype, just help here!
@victoriajohnson-parratt6975 definitely helps me stay sane and as calm as my spastic self can be. Hope you're well.
Given how many times the mainstream outlets publish something false in the interest of publishing something first, I am 100% comfortable getting my news from you.
Just a Reminder, The Ramones had more effect on German unification then Reagan.
Been waiting for this moment for years. FIRST COMMENT! I hope Beau is doing fine!
So CLOSE!

Thank you, Belle. Nice to hear how you plan to respond to the reduced accessibility of news outlets.
Because I'm very impatient, I still use the archive ph link that Beau once recommended, to open articles with an email or paywall. Still works perfectly and I'm very grateful for it.
Stay safe and healthy everyone.
Belle if you see the above message please link the afore mentioned video.
Good afternoon Mo! This channel is the best source for accurate news reports!
I use Archive for everything. I didn't know that wasn't common knowledge because I've been using it for years. Thanks for mentioning it and putting the info out there.

@@hattielankford4775 oh merciful heavens 🥴
I am reminded of how newspapers worked until well into the 20th century: someone whose interests weren't being served by all the other newspapers could start a new one for the price of getting a printshop to set the type for four large front-to-back pages and print it on single sheets that could then be folded and delivered. Hearst's and Pulitzer's daily papers in the days of "yellow journalism" (cheap newsprint paper was yellowish) were single sheets like this, as were most of the other New York newspapers, and a person who wanted to keep up on everything in the city would (and could!) read several editions of multiple papers every day. Broadcast radio equipment, in contrast, was expensive, and in the early days it was technically impossible for two radio stations to coexist in the same airspace.
So technology has brought back the ability of an individual or group to publish news and opinion at relatively low expense. I'm here for it. And one silver lining to the dark cloud that is Trumpism, once the fever breaks, might be an increased demand for channels that provide more facts and less hype-and-hate.
When Beau first stepped back I said I thought it would be funny if he fell into creating a media empire, I stand by it. Keep growing the movement.
People will talk about kits working, but you have to ask them directly about how they got through this or that. Most people are happy to share their lessons learned, but as belle said, you won’t necessarily hear about it otherwise.
THE ONLY NEWS. EVERY DAY. Thanks for keeping it real.
Thanks Belle vote Harris and I haven't written in I am wondering about early voting with clean up with the hurricane.
I've certainly used parts of my kits from time to time. From long-running battery lanterns and food supplies when power's gone out for days, to having regular bandaids in the IFAK I always wear.
Before the pandemic I added hand sanitizer and gloves to my first aid kits. I was pretty glad for it.
Nothing wrong with being a basic... person. :)
I would recommend Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels for some great story telling with interesting psychology. They maskerade as funny fantasy stories.
I honestly do not watch news anymore unless a Hurricane is coming through. I look to you for keeping me up to date with what is important, without filling me with angst, dread and worry. I love you guys and your Walter Cronkite type honesty is refreshing and captivating. Thank you and Beau for refreshing my belief in human nature. VOTING BLUE! HOW ABOUT YOU?
I love that young people are listening to your channel. That’s so encouraging!
Thank you and yes election is top priority this go around for way to many reasons. 🌊🇺🇸
WE like to watch your videos with our coffee and then with lunch and then maybe we watch your videos before bed time, thanks you for caring.
It's October in 1 of the ugliest elections ever, we should get PLENTY of scary stories 😬
I'm with you Belle. I know this is an incredibly important election and we must pay attention and stay informed, but I do look forward to the day when we can take a deep breath, relax, and focus on something else.
I’m voting and I hope you will.
When that same kind of freeze hit MS, Beau was where I learned how to survive, 19 degrees and no power.

Thank you Belle and the Team. Your continuing good work is greatly appreciated.
when I used my emergency kit . . . late April 1996, I was driving up the Alaska Highway on a motorcycle about 50kms east of Whitehorse when I saw a car pulled over so I stopped to help. the driver had an infant in the back seat and was near her due date with another, and a flat tire. Her tire iron didn't fit her lug nuts, but i had a good tool kit and changed her tire 7 hours before she gave birth. I always carry tools.
it was snowing
Good thing you were there!

Yeah. Scary story by the fire. We'll all pull up a glass of Gaterwine, or a mason jar of our favorite mix.
Early Sci-Fi --- Jules Verne. Sci-fi is only sci-fi till someone makes it. Then, science fact. Talk to your grandparents. Listen to all the stories of the "new" inventions. My grandmother was born in 1880. I was born in 1954. Lot's of stories.
Maybe you could turn that into a book (or ebook).
Morning 🌅🌄
P.S.: I can't tell Dana's voice has been altered: it's fine, clear, concise, & understandable. My Dad said (kindly), "Speak clearly, & distinctly", & Dana's voice fulfills those parameters. Voices in a higher register can sound more like a high-speed burst transmission & less like a narration. For my 2¢s worth, I'd leave things as they are. Kind regards!
One of your Halloween stories should be the original radio broadcast of War of the Worlds.
I was little the first time I heard it, maybe 8...I knew it wasn't real but the hair on my head kept standing up. Positive vibes from New Hampshire, remember to be kind to each other and yourself during these trying times.

I missed Dana, from all the comments I should go back and check it out! Thank you, just as much belle "
So appreciate what you are doing here! And Texas...my son had just started grad school and his cheap crappy apartment had frozen pipes, water dripping through light fixtures, and smoke alarms going non-stop and he was the only one who knew to turn off the power (when it was still working) and to look for a building water shut off. He had a whole bunch of mylar blankets to build a blanket fort (thanks to mom stashing them in his car when he was a grad student in the Adirondacks) and snow tires so he could drive to an HEB that was open and bring back water and food for his whole building! Emergency kits are a good thing.
Ms. B, I am so grateful for your taking over!

Thank you for the information you and the team provide. I gave up on mainstream media and tv quite a few years ago. It has really expanded my information and entertainment base.
I find it amazing how far Beau of the 5th Column has come from a bloke making a jokey video based around his accent. So much hard work and good faith over the years; and now it is expanding in to multiple useful channels, all drawing on a network of progressive minds.

I just learned about this so I just subscribed I was happy when you announced on the other channel, that this channel was going to be more experimental. Keep it up Belle,
