I think the video should have clarified that this was for SEMI-ACTIVE radar-guided missiles; the active radar homing missiles like the AIM-120 AMRAAM, R-77, MICA, and others would vastly outperform the SARH missiles shown here.

My experience is that you should nerf multipathing even further, preferably to IRL levels. I am kinda sick of schmucks hugging the deck at 500kmh and slinging R-27ET in all directions while they are practically immune to all radar missiles. I am sorry, but if I launch a radar missile at you from 10km altitude at mach 2.0 within 15km distance, and all you do is making circles on the deck barely past your stall speed, you should absolutely not survive that no matter what. This needs to stop and people need to learn proper radar jousting tactics.
Multipathing doesn't always work... We get fooled very often even at less than 50m from the ground. And especially when the missiles have a very vertical descent.
The R27ER is so much better then any other fox-1 and should not have been added when Gaijin dit. It insanely OP and even now when we have FOX 3 missiles it’s still crazy. And no it requires 0 skill or experience to get kills with it. Just have your radar key binds set correctly.
The r-27er is strong, but it has a weakness: notching. So if you're fighting someone who has a ER, you better not expect to win win if you have an inferior fox 1 missile. You can go defensive, and wait for a better opportunity to attack. If you can't do this, it's straight up skill issue. And Although it's range is better than fox 3 missiles, it's realistically worse than every fox 3. Simply because you need to face the enemy to keep a proper lock, while the enemy can just launch a fox 3, evade and notch the r-27er. Essentially having a fair chance for both pilots.

R-24 is very good missile but radar on ML/MLD/MLA was punished so badly so sometimes you will have mental breakdown while Acquiring radar lock.

R-27ER, is the best Active Radar guided missile. But you'll be facing a lot of AIM-120s which turns the table.
