Right, Boba Fett was known as a mysterious bounty hunter whose face was secret. Now they didn’t just change his role in the universe, they are also letting us see his face too often
The never taking his helmet off was something created by the EU (or now Legends). In the movies, we only saw him working. Even in Jabba's palace, while he was definitely partying it up (which canon or not, impacted him when fighting Luke), he was still on "guard duty".

There’s a certain etiquette when it comes to wearing a helmet. Of course, that etiquette may not have mattered to Boba in the past but it sure does now if he wishes for the people of Tatooine to trust him as Daimyo.
If you’re speaking to someone whom you are trying to show respect you remove the helmet for proper eye-contact. If you’re introducing yourself you remove the helmet so that they can see your face. There’s plenty of other rules like this but they all apply here.
He’s building an empire and if you want the respect of the people then you have to take these steps. Chances are his helmet will stay on more and more over time as it becomes less necessary to constantly reveal his face to others.

Well i have a feeling this wont be a long running show anyway.. Because they dedicated an entire episode to a character from a different show, and without him in it at all. That says alot. I love Temeura though and never mind seeing him

At the very least they did take his advice on giving a decent amount of his lines to Fennec. Let her do the talking.
I'd say a much more fair assessment is a solid 50/50.
Disney has a habit and history of only listening to feedback occasionally. And it's not like this is a new thing. Not communicating or listening to feedback (even within their own company) helped to sabotage films with potential, like The Black Hole and The Black Cauldron.

Listen, I love Temuera Morrison, but Boba is taking his helmet off too much. Knowing that Tem is behind the mask and delivering the lines would be enough to make me happy, but for some reason the creators think they can’t have a character who doesn’t show their face, despite the fact that this show is running off of the success of a show with a faceless character
Boba the character wasn't strict in with the Mandalore code like the Mandalorian, in matter of fact the older Boba got the more Boba took on his own path and philosophy.
I agree there needs to be less of him walking around carying his helmet.
I always thought Boba kept his helmet on to differentiate himself from his clone counterparts.

I love Temeura Morrison, have since AOTC, Star Wars Bounty Hunter, Republic Commando and Star Wars Battlefront 2. I know I could’ve just said AOTC but I wanted to list some of his best works. Also he rocked in Aquaman despite his minor role.

That’s what people loved about Boba from the comic, Legends, and his debut in the films. He was a man of action, he let his actions speak for him. He didn’t choose sides, he fought for himself. His greatest arc, is possibly in Legends. When he goes from bounty hunter, to becoming Mandalore, and being one of the pivotal reasons the Yuzzan Vong we’re repelled from the galaxy.
He should talk less and only take of his helmet in private among Fennac. Rest of the time he should keep his helmet on.

The Book Of Boba Fett should’ve been a prequel from like in between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope Because to be honest, Fett taking over Jaba’s palace was never really going to work out as a show. Boba Fett isn’t meant to be a ruler, he is a bounty hunter. Him being a ruler just doesn’t make sense to be quite honest which is why I think the show should have been a prequel, on how he became the most feared bounty hunter in the galaxy. That would be 10x better than what we got in my opinion.
He does become Mandalore in legends and a damn effective one.

well, there is an advantage to letting everyone else do most of the talking. people will often fill the silence and give you more than they intended while you offer them nothing.

I feel like they should do I season 2 and have him as a producer or executive producer. I know I know he isn’t a professional but I think he provides a lot of valuable input and understands the character much better than the professionals seem to.

To be fair the series is a character study, if he is just there being silent it's kinda defeats the point of him being thw mc

I don't think he should be entirely silent, but he shouldn't speak too much and it should mostly be quick and to the point. I also don't think he should take his helmet off around anyone except Fennec. I mean, in the old Expanded Universe, Han Solo who had encountered Fett countless times since he was in his mid 20's didn't see Boba's face until Legacy of the Force when he was in his 60s. And fixing his scars felt a bit too cheap. Let him have some burns on his face, he's earned them.
It also didn't help that half his lines were just him saying "Clear out" over and over.
I feel like the talking wouldn’t be that bad if he only removed his helmet in more private and intense scenes, I just didn’t really buy him removing it to walk around in public and whenever he entered the bar and shit.
I still loved the series tho and boba fett in it, it’s just a nitpick I don’t think it’s the total disaster a lot are trying to make it tbh

The problem is, the strong, silent John Wayne type was already applied to The Mandalorian. I honestly think it would've been redundant if BoB was set in another Western Sci-Fi setting. Even though Mandalorian is already starting to deviate from that. It still baffles me that they opted to make it a crime-action genre. They could've at least made it a crime noir set in the criminal underworld of Coruscant or something. Far away from the sands of Tattooine. We've had enough sand.
Boba was the OG John Wayne type. They took a lot that made Boba Boba and gave it to Mando.

They keep making the same mistake with these shows. If it's a show about Boba, make it about Boba. Most of it should be focused on him, and he should be the ultimate badass in that show. Just like they do in comics. If he steps into Mando as a side character, he shouldn't be the main focus or the hero. But instead Book of Boba was too much about Mando/Fennic, Obi Wan was too much about child-Leia, Mando too much about Bo'katan, and Ahsoka is too much about Sabine/Hera.
Also people really liked the EU, why they felt the need to delete it is really sad. But Jango should have been featured at least somewhat in Boba's show, at least in a flashback or something. The code of honor Jango stood for should be represented at least once so it can be "canon" again. The things he taught his son, the love he had for Boba, it all should have an opportunity to be shown in the Book of Boba.
Don't get me wrong, the Tuskans are cool but- let's dive into Boba's actual backstory some more, get some heart wrenching scenes in there, and see this bounty hunter in all of his badass glory. He shouldn't be sidelined by Dinn or Bo.
Hot take: BOBA should be the next Mandalore, as many believed his father should have been!
