Absolutely loved this episode - the parade and concert - I could have watch 60 minutes of the bus ride to Kas - Dinner up in the cozy room - and then seeing our old friend Jim. I envy you two - for the life you've sculpted. Please don't take it for granted.
You can trust Smilies to serve up a great fish dinner… it’s the first place I ate at when I arrived there, especially after seeing you guys eat there a few times. For once I can say it brings back memories of being in Kas and seeing familiar faces… hehehe I really miss being there. I’m guessing you’ve eaten here before, but if not you may want to try Demeti Restaurant, it’s next to the “Lions Tomb” I believe it’s called. They are known for their seafood also, seriously good food also. Thanks guys!
@@SailingABSea - first ones are slow movers - and bigger - remember I said my first one took 57 days to pass. The good news is that when it get to the end - and comes out - that part doesn't hurt at all - it just kind of plops out and that's that.
@@SailingABSea maybe you had a small nerve twinge in your lower back… hard to see on scans but produces horrible pain. Glad to hear you are feeling better.
@@SailingABSea I am not sure if it is the same, but I had something similar which started from what seems as the same place as yourself, and the after effects lasted years for me and I spent a lot of money over time on MRI’s, X-rays and ultrasound and osteotherapy and massage for the muscle pain. The sharp pain happened twice to the day a year apart, though you seem much better than what happened to me. Doctors never found the problem, but it was the most horrific pain I have ever felt and I have never screamed so uncontrollably loud, doctor had to come to my bedside to administer morphine and pethidine injections for the pain, only the pethidine worked. Hope you’re feeling better, but I would suggest to get the kidneys checked because depending on eating habits and alcohol consumption you may find that any weakness in that region will play with the muscle spasms also. All the best!
Hi guys! Enjoy your vids. How do Kemer marina fees compare with Kaş or any other marina in Turkey? Hoping to join the liveaboard life later this year and since I am based in Antalya part of the year Kemer is quite convenient. No space in Antalya Setur marina, I was told.
So nice to see our old stomping grounds! We miss Turkey. Thank you. Krista & Mark
Glad you enjoyed it. 😀

We're working as hard as we can to keep this lifestyle, definitely not taken for granted. 👍
@Sailing A B Sea Yes indeed. 💚
The D400 is an awesome road. Finike to Kaş is a fabulous journey of twists and turns with the turquoise waters of the Med just a car crash away.
Corners are straight lines for the Turks. 😂
Great video guys. We met Jim in Kas and he made us some wonderful G and T’s
Jim is the king of the G & T. 🍸
Red is your colour Annsha. You looked amazing in your red jeans. Baz you lucky dog!!
Thank you so much 😊
And now I'm blushing! ☺
@@AannshaJonesyou do look amazing in that shot. Quite s.xy! Hope Baz doesn't freak out with me. 🤩

Next time we are in Kas we'll look up Demeti restaurant. Cheers.
Nice episode
Thanks Jon. 👍
Looks like a lovely trip. I really love the food on the coast of Turkey. Cant wait to be out there in May!
See you along the coast somewhere. 👍
Any news on the stone - or the otherwise mystery ailment?
(Baz) I'm generally feeling back to normal, there is still a twinge in the back muscle.

Hi Ross, we have no idea about the cost of Kemer marina. Yes most of the Setur marinas have waiting lists.
🙂👍
Cheers.
