Very enjoyable video, my first fountain was a Parker in primary school, bought myself a Lamy Al Star, when I started to get back into writing, my cursive had become very poor due to the digital age and I didn’t want to love it, next I got a few Jinhaos (159), Twisb Eco and after that I took a break and used what I had. Few years later I bought a vintage Montblanc 146 and I got the hooked after that, before that I had a few pens in a drawer to use. The Lamy 2000 is a great pen, would recommend it.
I do enjoy the Jinhao 9019, Amazon has them for 13 with an additional 20% off. I too will not spend a lot on plastic pens…TWSBI brand is life. I want the new cafe bronze colour.
Nice video - thanks! If you like TWSBIs try ordering one from Pen Realm. You have the option to have them custom ground. I have a Mini with a CSI grind and a TWSBI with an Imperial grind and they are terrific!
Thank you so much! I just commented on someone's video that I want to do custom grinds on TWSBIs and I thought to myself - I know someone does that, who is it?... Thanks again!
First off,, we have the same 1st name. I'm glad I found your video. I have been contemplating the Jinhao 82 pens and I definitely think it's a hole I don't want to fall down. The centenniel 100 is really nice, but I'm going to stick to my guns and not do it as pretty as they are. There is a list of pens I want. I like the colors on the leonardo, so much but the nipple caps are not my aesthetic. so glad you showed the pens in detail.
You're my inspiration! I don't really go looking for pens and I forget to check my emails so I miss a lot. Your collection is so broad I get ideas from you - thank you!
First fountain pen was some kind of Parker fountain pen which I no longer have. This was based on my mom’s recommendations, alas, it was based on experiences from the 50’s or 60’s.😅
Technically my first fountain pen was a bamboo pen I was asked to review from a vendor on Amazon in 2017 but it was a cartridge pen and a fine nib and I really didn’t care for it. So when I really started to experiment with fountain pens in February 2023 my first pen was the Duke Charlie Chaplin pen in purple with a Fude nib. I loved it so much I purchased the same color with a medium nib as I realized after the fact that 1. Fude nibs were not as easy as I thought to use and 2. The nibs are not removable in this Duke pen. It is a very heavy pen which I love. It is around $20 and is still probably my favorite out of all of my pens I have purchased so far.
I love it. I realized for me the magic of fountain pens is in the ink and that has led me to love broader nibs so I can see the properties of the ink. I have two extra fine nibs that I hardly ever use - one on that first TWSBI.
I would absolutely love love to take the noodler's pen off your hands, if you would like. Also to pay what you think you would want. Please let me know ❤
I've seen some comments about the plastic cracking; TWSBI would replace the cracked part for the cost of shipping. I haven't had any cracking - thankfully!
I love your ink swatches :) - Finn
Thank you kindly :)

Me, too! And the Iceberg one, also. I love my TWSBIs.

Stick to your guns! I wish I was more resolute but I'm ok with it - at least for fountain pens LOL! Thanks for watching, Anita!
I am a minute in and I love the shout out to Lucy! She totally has cat energy! Okay, on to watch the rest of the video!
She's awesome! I love Lucy 😍
Beautiful pens!! We have quite a few of the same pens.

I think my older sister's fountain pens were Parker (she no longer has them). I was always taking her stuff - drove her nuts LOL

I absolutely love Jinhao pens and Monteverde pens. If you decide to sell your noodlers ahab let me know I would be interested in purchasing it.
I definitely will! ☺️
