What a great video. Good to see people who really do try to fish sustainably. Watching the 'Trawlerman' series on BBC all they talk about was 'Boxes of fish' Types of fish to catch, How much money they needed to earn. Never heard the words 'conservation' or 'sustainability' throughout the WHOLE SERIES' . I will watch it again to check my facts though. 300,000 square miles of sea and 300+ fishing boats all around the coast. Nearly 1000sq miles of sea for each boat!
My family has eaten more fish since lockdown than ever in our lives, and a much wider range than we would normally too. It's wonderful to know we are helping the local fishing industry and not a supermarket. I really hope we can continue to buy direct, even when normality resumes.
