I always saw it as a ticking time bomb, a case of will it or will it blow up or defuse...but that's more like arguments really, the whole Knife & Dagger as a play to the easiest way to the heart has been in books & cinema forever. A totally dangerous metaphor if shown physically & lived truly with one you can't be without, as someone else once said "Love is the most powerful spell there is"

This is my favorite theme throughout the entire series. Honestly, Loki is probably the best movie/show Marvel has created so far (also in my opinion it has the best music), it had so much character devolopment, and it had us all emotionally attached to Loki and Sylvie at the end. I really hope Loki and Sylvie get their happy ending together. I hope they can go off in a separate branch of the timeline, and live out their days together, along with Wanda and Vision. I don't normally get emotional with movies/TV, but this one really got to me. It's a cinematic masterpiece.
I actually hope they will be together and live in the normal timeline in new asgard so loki can also see his brother

IKR, they are now my favorite couple from the mcu.
Yup, im really happy when they finally kiss, it's like yayy finally my ship has sailing ! And this is the only couple that peak my interest , other mcu couple is allright,but they're boring and predictable: Tony- Pepper,Thor-Jane,Peter-Mj ,Scott-Hope etc

Loki is almost as old as time and he has never been unloved. The vikings loved him and the stories of him and Thor. And people after viking have felt the same for centuries. I miss Loki in his Asgardian armor, I hope he gets some form of it back in season 2, but I guess his new clothing shows he's changed.
Maybe a new kind of Asgardian Armour or something different but still green just with a fresh twist.

"but I guess his new clothing shows he's changed" - i feel like its true, but probably not in the way you meant it. the new clothes are very boring, very "normal", there is nothing special or interesting in them. if you look at his previous clothes it was something that you couldnt not notice, it was over the top (in a good way), beautiful, interesting, special, dramatic, almost charismatic. and that is exactly the difference between the tv show loki and the movies loki. in the movies loki is very charismatic over the top drama queen, but in the tv show its very toned down, he so much more regular and normal and less noticeable that he doesnt seem like him anymore. like a different person who looks like loki and has some similarities with him, but still, a different person.
@@justsomerandomname2067 I agree. I enjoyed the show, but I prefer the Loki in the movies rather than the Loki in the TV show. You could argue that because this show is about the multiverse, Loki should be more toned down. Nevertheless, the Loki we got in the movies will probably always be more interesting and look cosmetically better than the TV show Loki.
It's still a great show. Tom Hiddleston did a great job playing Loki. I can't wait to see him again in season 2.

A lot of people don't approve this romance but damn if I dont admit that it got me in the feels. They are very cute together. 😍 when I watched the making of Loki documentary one of the brainstorms they came up with is "Loki fucks off with Sylvie"... so in an alternate universe Loki and Sylvie probably stayed together in the ending.
Awwww :-( I'm sorry that they didn't get their happy ending. Even though the actual ending was heartbreaking, it made sense and was deeply impactful. I still hope Loki gets to see his loved ones again someday...
@@amberckerr it was a very fitting ending for Loki. He finally found his glorious purpose. He saved everyone he loves but at the cost of his own happiness. That's the curse of a Loki.

Its a retarded scene. There is no version of Loki that would ever say this. And they hadn't spent more than like, a day together, most of which was spent with her verbally stepping on his gentials to showcase her female dominance. ive never seen a more forced romance of two actors that could ever care less for eachother.
These two have the on screen chemistry of Brie Larson's personality.

Loki may have originally been that way, but in the 'sacred timeline' he grew as a character and eventually sacrificed himself trying to stop Thanos, instead of seeking a way to personally profit from the situation. In the MCU his story is one of redemption - he isn't just an eternal mischief maker like in the comics.
In 'Loki' the variant sees everything that should have happened in his life and is deeply moved by it in episode 1. He then proceeds to develop a lot as a character over the next 5 episodes. He gets trapped in an infinite loop with Sif, where he eventually makes a full admission that he's a narcissist who craves attention. We don't know how long he was trapped in there - it could have been an incredibly long time.
The point is - he develops a lot as a character, to the point where he I believe he could fall in love. And love does change people - in some cases fundamentally.
But he's still Loki - because let's face it, the only person he could ever truly love is himself!
I'm not saying that this romance is the next 'Romeo & Juliet', but to me it seemed feasible and I enjoyed the fact that a different version of Loki also managed to redeem himself in completely different circumstances. And in the end, the twist was that 'our Loki' was actually the one who grew as a person, whilst Sylvie remained true to her old nature and selfishly double-crossed him in favour of her own agenda.

It’s cool that they get their own “Across the Stars” type theme. It’s got that classic old-school swell of melody that you could repeat during plenty of their scenes. I hope we hear it again!

People say he's in love with himself and that makes people squirm....usually it's awkward but this time I don't believe in that.. they are VARIANTS of a character which essentially makes them different characters... It's like being one half of a twin.... You have a twin sibling who looks like you.... But it doesn't make you the same person... And I think throughout the series, Tom Hiddleston portrays that development in character very well from first episode to the last...
