Love your enthusiasm/love for bikes. I was there last weekend too busy, much better mid week, but generally a better show this year from last. Need to remember all the bikes are on stands holding them up straight which may affect height ? Just enjoy your cool ninja and save the coin until you can get the one you really want. 👌🏻keep up the good footage though 💪🏻
very enjoyable thanks for the blog it was informative and realistic way of finding out what's best for you ! that matters ride safe out there have a good rest of the day. 🙂
Hey! I saw you wandering around but didn't wanna interrupt your filming. Just wanted to say I love all the content and it's loads of fun following your journey :) I was also tempted by the ZX4RR (16,000RPM!!) but will stick to the comfort of adventure bikes. Glad you enjoyed the show :)
Just like me last weekend, sitting on all the bikes with my legs swinging in the air. The only one I can really sit on comfortably was the Honda Rebel. The Kwak Z 500 and ninja 500 were potentials with one toe down. Ha Ha
Agreed, I definitely think the zx4rr would be more fun than the 650, and they're not too different in terms of frame size for me. The 650 actually felt too relaxed to be a sport bike 😂
I was there today and it's defo decisions and mind breaking, I sat on 3 bikes today I'm turning to one already and it ain't a Yamaha 😥 which I have already time will tell, keep up the videos doing a great job and I Soo love watching your videos ride safe
I wouldn't discount the ZX4R just because it's smaller than the ZX6. It has as near as damn it 80hp and screams like a banshee. Compared to your Noxy it will be a rocket ship, certainly plenty fast enough for UK roads. Don't fall for the "willy waving" horsepower game. I had a GPZ500 back in the day with just 60 bhp and it kept me plenty entertained for 3 years, and when in group rides I rarely felt I was struggling to keep up. Despite what some will tell you (usually stroking their egos in my experience) most riders don't go flat out everywhere! Sure, in those group I was working my bike harder than some of my friends on their bigger machines (zx6s, R1s, 1200 bandits ect) but I was also still passing some of them in the corners (and was keeping up well enough on the straights to be that close). When we'd fill up at the other end I'd used half the fuel, ridden twice as hard and got there at the same time 🤣 Honestly I'd actually chose the 4 over the 6 now as I could use more of the bike on the road without always being in licence binning territory.
The best thing to do is to go to the dealers that sell this bikes and see how you feel with the weight of them as well. The issue of sitting on them at the bike show is you cannot feel that and depending on where the weight is a heavier bike on paper can feel lighter. The Zx4R looks lush. Almost as nice as my old ZXR400.
Yes definitely! Like I'm happy only having one foot down, but need to be able to shift the weight from foot to foot. And yeah that's the first time I've seen the new zx4rr, stunning :D
Im only 5ft 4, hobbit ended up buying the 765 RS 2024 had to have the 10mm suspension drop and lower seat to make it fit! I would like a 1000cc+ but the insurance is £1,000+ fully comp and only would consider if they can be lowered! so much more investment!
It's probably an age thing. I'm mid 50's and looking at the bikes you guys checked out I'm thinking oh no , back ache ,wrist ache 😊 Great content. Thanks for sharing. P.s they're making approachable, sizewise adventure bikes these days 😊
Great Vid I think the Kawasaki 400RR would suit you it's a, little Screamer plenty fast Enough and you could do a track Day too keep up the Great Vids love watching you do some Really good Informative content Ride safe Enjoy Roll on summer
i do like the looks of the new tracer but am not sold on a semi auto gearbox, sounds like it will take away took much fun of a motorbike ride, i may be wrong!
I can understand your frustration with all these glorious bikes on show which you like buy are too big. Not to mention the price. There are plenty on here giving good advice on bikes that might suit you. 😊
Looks as though you had a great day out. Some stunning bikes there. Great choice for the consumer. I read in a previous comment about wanting to see a Triumph? What was the Triumph you were interested in - let me guess Daytona 660… 😊 I have to say they have a lovely range. I’m now on my 3rd Triumph. No regrets with my previous choice, but not intending to change now for a couple of yrs. lol 😂
I would buy the ZX4RR over a ZX6R if it's cheaper, because I imagine it has enough power to be a boat load of fun on the road, maybe even more so because you get to wring it out. But the thing with 600's is that there are a lot of them on the used market, and for good prices! I really want to give a used CBR600RR from 10-15 years ago a try because they cost about as much as my current bike, and they can be had with ABS which I really like having. I'm in that really privileged position where height isn't an issue for me unless it's some crazy tall allroad or dualsport.
I hope you managed to get a sit on a Daytona.... My wife.has just got one she loves it... She had to lower her 125 but didnt have too lower her Daytona. Hope you had a fantastic day 😎 stay safe.
@@TipToeBikers nooooo 💔 if you can you should check it out if you can. Tbf it looked like a monster show to get round and see everything no wonder your head was sore in the end lol. 😎
6:40 all my friends that have harleys, etc, either struggle with reaching because the bike looks cool, or they get different bars and other custom parts.. you change it to fit you, there's nothing more to it.. I just don't think you want one, and that's cool, I don't want one either..
I didn't think it came across at all as moany! :) Just try and resist the urge to lower whatever bike you end with as that will most likely ruin the handling / slow the steering down (you want it to be a sports bike, right? ;) :) :D (and that DOES suit how you ride! :) )). If you HAVE to lower it, try and find one that has the space to allow you to drop the forks through the yokes as much as possible, to minimise the "damage" lowering the rear will likely to to the handing!! :) Cut down seat if that can make the difference (especially if you can make it skinnier st the front can really help!!), is the way to go, if at all possible... :) From a fellow (reasonably) short-ish 5 '8 bloke who has also always struggled with the seat heights of bikes (I basically just try to ignore it and get on with it ;) :) :D ))
Not called tip toe for no reason 😂. Anyway why are you so worried about being able to flat foot every bike, when you can just plant a foot and leave the other on the break?
Haha yes I had to pick up Louis & Olivia to save three bikes (and riders) getting soaked on the motorway 😂 the drive back was awful in the dark, definitely would not want to do that on the bike if I could avoid it
@@TipToeBikers yes i learned the hard way, on my Triumph, as weather app said drizzle, but it was storm bert. The lovely feeling when the smelly water went up over and into my boots.

Haha yeah I was pleasantly surprised with the 650, suitable for us shorties without any adjustment needed. I reckon the 500 will be very similar :)
Yep, zxr400rr over the 650 anyday, not a lot of different in size , more fun on the 400 .......

The zx4 is definitely something to consider, it really surprised me how comfortable it was and as you said, still an upgrade from my little 250 😆

Yes I've not seen how the daytona would be for me, probably not a candidate for next bike but I'm still curious 😆

Yeah that's the thing- the zx4rr is wonderful but way too new to consider for insurance / pricing 🙃

I did not 🥲

Woah, I never thought about how loud it would be there. I will go one day but I'll take ear plugs 👍
Haha yeah the mic was working double time, to be fair I'm sure it would be a lot calmer on a week day :)
6:40 all my friends that have harleys, etc, either struggle with reaching because the bike looks cool, or they get different bars and other custom parts.. you change it to fit you, there's nothing more to it..
I just don't think you want one, and that's cool, I don't want one either..
Yes very true, no different to me modifying a larger sport bike
ZX4RR Brake and Clutch levers need to be more curved back (dog leg). The only thing with sports bikes is comfort on long distances.
I’m twice your age and I would buy a ZX4RR if I had the disposable income (and less than six bikes already). Small inline four sportsbikes are 👌.
I absolutely do not have the disposable income for it right now, nor am I getting any insurance quotes... but I'm still thinking about it 😂😂
@ fully understand 🤣 I fear insurance may be the killer based on what I’ve heard from other younger riders which is shame.
Definitely look best on the Kawasaki 💚💚💚
😎
💯R9 🖤
Not all cruisers are created equal. 😊
Haha true
been able to sit on the bikes is great. just the show isn't what it used to be like . cheaper gear etc.
I see you are living up to your name lol
Indeed haha
ok.....What's with your aversion to Triumph?...😂
Hahaha the triumphs i wanted to see were not there 😂😂
Tiptoebiker whats your height ( the lady’s). Thanks.
5 foot on a good day
Any luck in finding the bikes you can’t afford??
see 0:10 😆

Imagine only being able to tiptoe 5% of bikes 😂
Imagine picking on me when you are a HAIR taller
@ 2 inches is actually a lot, thank you very much 😒
😂
Not called tip toe for no reason 😂. Anyway why are you so worried about being able to flat foot every bike, when you can just plant a foot and leave the other on the break?
Never need to flatfoot a bike 😎 as long as I can get one foot down I'm happy, it's what I do on my current bike
you went in a car? oh dear…
Did you try any of the activities ?
Haha yes I had to pick up Louis & Olivia to save three bikes (and riders) getting soaked on the motorway 😂 the drive back was awful in the dark, definitely would not want to do that on the bike if I could avoid it
And no everything was booked up activity wise, we got there later in the day

@@TipToeBikers thats a shame, i really enjoy the trails track and got to video it :-)
Why "oh dear"?? I ride all through winter, but NEVER ride to the NEC bike shop!! ;) (for many reasons)
You are not valid for big bikes you should take Honda Cub 125 cc
What do you mean by not valid?
