I love reading these comments. The composer of this little ditty was my dad, the late Rick Rhodes, and he would have been SO flattered and floored had he known what a nostalgic impact his music had on so many people. Thank you for the nice comments. It means the world to me. :)
No way! That's insane! Do you know to what degree he was involved with making this game's soundtrack? He's one of three composers credited, and since he's the first I imagine he had the most involvement, but I'm sorta curious. Seriously though, it's so awesome your dad was involved with this game's score! Shame he's no longer with us, but his legacy lives on :D
***** HumongousSoundtracks That's actually amazing, Allie! Too bad that the many Humongous games' soundtracks will never see high-quality remastered versions, it'd have been perfect, even for your father if 22 Khz audio was supported at the time the older SCUMM games were re-released. As for you Legoking831, I figured Lucasfilm Games still used MIDI before their final SPUTM game used 22 khz. Maybe Humongous could've first gone for 16 Khz with Backyard Baseball? I don't mind keeping the MIDI in the style George "The Fat Man" Sanger's songs are ever since I found out he first composed MIDI sequences for The 7th Guest.
+Allie Rhodes That's frankly amazing. This song is truly fantastic, one of the songs that stuck with me the most from Pajama Sam and... probably any Humongous Entertainment game. It's so lively and happy, you can't help but feel in a good mood. And I think that's a great quality in music. It's a great piece of work.

I played this game aged 3 so it's definitely nostalgic, my music tastes are described by others as "elevator music" and I don't think it's hard to figure out why xD
It just feels that way because we were kids. The 2000's (decade I grew up in) were pretty bad looking back on those years, with nine-eleven and the housing crash. Despite that, I'd be lying if I said I don't look back on those times with rose-colored glasses.
Sometimes I would just stay in the living room to hear this music, and all the furniture dancing. Also I love if you keep clicking on Sam, he does that Snoopy dance. xD
