Wow makes me happy to see New Fans for this club and seeing different walks of life enjoying the beautiful game as kid that strictly watched soccer and played i remember saying and thinking what if one day this sport get more love and reception and at least gets some more eyeballs for the youth that’s to come so they can enjoy the game and feel there is a chance at becoming a pro in the states or just a gateway to becoming a professional. Honestly to see the direction the sport was in the states from my time in youth to know I can say it’s dream come true this was my expectation that I wished soccer would go . Hope your kids enjoyed it i remember my first game we won a club tournament and the reward was tickets and to walk out the tunnel with the players in RFK and the attachment to the club was a result of not knowing there was local professional soccer team and illusion of growth for the sport and team.
There is a parking lot next to the stadium where the players park (you'll some security at the players entrance), and if you get there early, you can say hi and get autographs from the players as they go from the parking lot to the stadium.
DC United hasn't been successful since the league was just a few teams. Also, LA Galaxy have surpassed United as the most successful club in the US (most overall championships) If you could name one factor for United's decline, most informed fans would probably point to the inept owner and operator, Jason Levien and Dave Kasper. Kasper has been replaced as GM/operator but still remains at the club. Jason Levien is a well-renown penny pincher and has a history of tanking sports franchises. Dan Sneider and Jason Levien are best buds.
DC united is a dead club with no clear playing style signs prem retireees to sell tickets and plays the worst brand of football ive ever seen. I'd say go to a washington spirit game instead.

Thank you for watching and for leaving a comment. I hope the sport does well in the DC Metro area and continues to be the number one world sport.

That’s great to know. I’ll try to get your autograph on my next visit. I hope you enjoyed the game and found my video helpful.
In general rule of thumb for all of dc is do not drive the metro rail and bus network is great and a much better option throughout the city.
Agreed.
@@letsgoseeit457 Nearest metro station is actually navy yard. Like a 7 to 10 minute walk
