That was cool seeing how the round bales are done. Totally different than the way we used to bale hay!!

I never remember seeing a round bale being made growing up. Remember seeing some in fields but never in progress.

That baling process is so cool! I grew up with the rectangles shooting out the back. LOL

The small square bales is what I always remembered too. Never saw the round bale in the making growing up.

No disrespect, you are actually do the work I’m not, but I’ve seen others when they till grass for a garden, some cover with tarp before they till to kill grass, then right after the first till they cover with tarp again to kill any weed seeds that sprouted. Helps establish the beds and cut down on fighting of grass and weeds.
Great content seeing how someone gets started.

Yup they cover with silage tarps. We will do that in the spring for our bigger beds but didn’t want to do all that work for two small rows and then have it sit and grow back over the winter.

Don't forget you don't need a fence around it because of the deer hunt the deer will eat your garden up our garden is in our front yard and we have to put electric fence around it so you might need to think about that hun just trying to be helpful hope it will help you out because I want y'all to do good and can you tell me what part of California you were from I was out there several years ago with cancer and Palo Alto . As always be safe and God bless

You need chicken and hog poop to it and you all need to start a compost. Use the old wood for it that would be perfect.

I had Cheery Tree and was told you need a female and a male tree, I wasn’t getting cherry until we planted a male tree. Just a heads up.

Do you get paid for the hay?

I did not, I chose to give it away this year. It was a big help to me to get it cut and it helped out the local guy needing some feed for his cows.

Why don't you put them in the ground

If you’re talking about the trees, they will be planted where the pigs currently are. Need to wait until they move out.
