Small punctuation: the "Caga Tió" is called just "Tió", and then you tell him to poop, so you tell him "Caga" which is the imperative form of the verb "Cagar" (to poop). But don't worry, even locals sometimes fall to this error, it's not a big deal :) But for the rest, reaaaally impressive video, congratulations!!!
Hi, I am planning to travel to Spain towards the end of December from 21st to 31st. I am planning to visit Madrid, Seville, Valencia and Barcelona (may change this later). Wanted to know how is Spain like towards end of December? Will shop/restaurants and places to visit be closed for the holidays or can I actually have a good time there?
Hi Patrick, thanks for the video, lot to learn about the Spanish traditions! Very interesting- but my question is more from a tourist standpoint, I am looking to understand that since Christmas is celebrated with families, do we see typically pubs/restaurants/shops closed during this time? Or will everything typically remain open
You forgot to mention ‘El Niño’ played on January 6th! A funny story about ‘El Gordo’ and ‘El Niño’, for years I used to think they were the same thing and that it was called ‘El Niño Gordo’ (‘The Fat Kid’) lol. I only found out they were separate lotteries a couple of years ago when a Spanish friend mentioned ‘El Gordo’ and I said “wait, isn’t it called ‘El Niño Gordo’? He literally didn’t stop laughing for 10 minutes lol.
Once tou e been and done xmas in Spain youll realise what a dead, useless sump the uk is. One day !!!!! it goes on so long and the three kings made me cry when i saw it first in Torrevieja
Thanks I needed this for a Spanish project
👨🏻🏫

Heyyy thanks a lot for the video. I had no idea about the three king parade in Madrid.
You’re welcome

Haha, that is a good one. I’ve actually never played El Niño, but that is another one. I just go all in for El Gordo and hope I win!
