- A FREE clean up for a single mum with a couple of children that is doing it tough, so I decided it was time to step up and lend a helping hand.
It was only a few hours out of my day but it was all worth it, just the smile on her face was enough payment for me.
Doesn't take much to put a smile on someone face 😊, you should try it one day.

I appreciate that Chris, only doing what I thought was the right thing to do.
Her neighbour called me and asked if I could mow her lawn and she (neighbour) was going to pay.
She then told me what the single mum was going through and when she paid me, I gave the money to the single mum. 💲💲💲

Thank you for being so carful and so thorough. I have seen too many videos of "free" lawn care work that is skimmed over rather than done right. Of course everyone watching is grateful for the yard to see some attention but you can tell the weeds will grow back in a week. I have seen expertly done free lawn work that is amazing. The hard worker goes so far out of their way to do an amazing makeover. So thank you for taking your time and giving freely your care. I wish I lived close as I would donate a power washed drive and walk, a house wash, and fence power wash.

Nice work as usual! It was also nice of you to help the family out like that. A nice clean looking property will not only make a difference for the day but for many weeks until the next time it needs a mow. One less thing for her and the family to worry about for a while.

Came up nice Rob👍 No catcher on the mower though? Do you have to go back over it at the end with a catcher on, or you just leave the clippings on the lawn?
(Only asking as I always use the catcher, and fill my green bin every couple weeks, be great if I can just let them sit on the lawn but I've never tried. 😆)

The mower I use is a Toro recycler and has a dedicated mulching blade fitted (Gator Blade) and it really mulches the clipping to a point that you can hardly see them. Also leaving the clippings on the lawn, especially during the summer months, helps retain the moist in the soil and will not dry out the soil.
I only use a catcher when asked and in the winter months, wet grass doesn't mulch very well it goes clumpy.
What mower do you have and does it have a mulcher attachment?

@@TigerDusty ahh, nice. I think I have reversible blades, cut one side, mulch the other, but i've never tried out the mulch side. Certainly no special attachment addon though. As for brand...uhhh, no idea, think it's a victa but nothing special, will look it up. 👍
