Right!! She never gets found out!! It pisses me off! Maybe she will if we ever get a 3rd season! However, her guilt over it is enough in some ways! It is also worse...because she feels this guilt and can't share what happened with anyone...so it just weighs heavily on her. And didn't she end up killing Togane in the end...so atleast there was that. And she also shares the same burden as Akane does....she knows about Sybil but can't get rid of the system and can't talk to anyone else about it. Also, sometimes the guilt is punishment enough!
...Also...Akane is a generally likeable character and really grows in the series....so if you put Shimozuki next to Akane...Shimozuki looks even worse. Since, I for one...fucking LOVE Akane! She just gets more and more badass. ;D
....However, Shimozuki did think she was doing the right thing when she was snooping and figuring out what Akane's angle was about...and she didn't know that Akane knew about Sybil so that is why she was always puzzled by many of Akane's actions and questioned them. So, I got all that and I'll give her that...but a lot of the time she acted like a little know-it-all bitch...which was annoying as fuck. Espciallly since Akane was her superior. Like you don't pull crap like that with your own fucking boss....and what do you know, she got bit in the ass for it! xD
...Lastly, though she was fearful of being killed and all that....it doesn't absolve her of guilt or get rid of what she did. She was indirectly responsible for Akane's grandma's death....no way around that. And I don't know about no solution....she could have talked to Akane...and possibly figured something else out...or atleast tried to...but she was too scared and didn't have a good relationship with Akane to begin with. I get why Shimozuki did what she did....but it isn't justified. She fucked up and now she gets to live with the guilt.
Y'all should read the manga version of this, the drawing of Akane really shows her inner rage that surfaces against the guy. She expresses her anger much more in the manga.
This scene still makes my blood boil and gives me goosebumps. Absolutely chilling, and so well directed. Major props to the director and storyboarders. One of my favourite scenes of the series, I'd say.
Awesome scene. I think this is a tribute to the untouchables another detective classic that uses Pavarotti in a world famous scene. if not then I would certainly be perfect.
local techpriest Nnno. The music choice and directing was nice, but it was basically just retreading an arc and moment that season 1 had already done much better. That, and it was predictable as all hell. Oh, let's introduce this feeble character with a familial connection to Akane out of nowhere, only to have her do basically nothing. I wonder how things are going to turn out for her...
But it is better like this right. I mean she was on this 'Justice' side yet she reminds me alot of Makishima. On last episode when she asked Ginoza what color she is, the first things I can think of is "I wonder if Tsunemori will ever turn black how hard it is for them to handle her? Combining her mentality after encountering both Makishima and Kamui? That will be one piece of art for her character.", 😍 Or maybe it just me? 😂😂
*Hannibal-will Lecter-Graham* yes that's one way to put it but almost fans says this upcoming movie or season kougami will be the next villain, and i do think the reason why tsunemori is a capable of being *badass* now cuz first reason is that she encountered *kougami* which is you can see how curious she is about his behavior in season 1, 2ND *makishima* she and kougami both are so gungho about capturing him, 3RD finally she incountered and tried to comprehend *kamuis* logic and behavior adapted his personality like what she did on kougami's, which is why she asked to ginoza " *WC* am i?" so yeah pretty what she is now cuz of the badasses guys she encountered with.
@@reno9571 gosh if Kougami becomes villain it will a lots of mental breaking for both side 😍 and about makishima, i dunno why but part of me did wish his dead but part of me wish he still alive until now becomes one who 'shadowing' kamui and giving him all sweet talk and keeps on breaking tsunemori and kougami (wtf wrong with me 😂) but again if makishima was not captured and killed, i guess we will not have this 'evil' kougami, right? (im still hoping here) 😣 i cant wait for this new movie or season even better, weather what we discuss will happen or not, this anime, i really loves it and hopefully it will blows our mind again and again 😍😍
wdf just to make her hue increase he killed ( not kamui oops spoiler ) her grandma. For godsake what did you want from an innocent old lady who loves dearly her grandchild ? T __T
For real, why did it have to be that song each time there's a slaughter in movies, tv shows and now even anime?! I mean hey, this scene gets me every time I watch it but why do they have to use this song of all things?
***** I don't know, its just that, the absurdity of it (and not in a bad way), its become a cliche and a joke to so many parodies. I mean, hey, this scene really got to me, but after watching soo many films using this song, I can't help but associate it to other scenes that used this song.
Basically, calm, serene classical music can sometimes juxtapose with the shocking nature of what's going on onscreen, in a way that somehow makes the what's happening seem even more horrific than it already is. The classical music, usually associated with order and peace, is being made to accompany visuals of chaos and violence, and this makes what already we already know to be wrong feel that much more so. And it works. People have been exploiting classical music to accompany scenes of shock/violence for years. The same thing applies to children's nursery rhymes and music boxes in horror films (although usually nursery rhymes and music boxes are often distorted to effectively represent a "corruption" of innocence, to heighten the sense of an evil and unforgiving presence).
I like how she was mad and tried to get a swing at him but it was sad that they killed her Grandma. oh PS I can totally see this as a crack vine. just put in the audio of the scene from frozen. wouh, there feisty pant leave the snowman be lol Thad be to funny
I never understood why Nessun Dorma was playing in the background during this scene....Like Wtf? xD But somehow, it fits perfectly too...it's weird. idk!
Right!! I don't remember! I'd have to re-watch the 2nd season to see what that was about! Togane was the one who did that...but I don't know how it got in the other guy's possession.
English translation of the first part of the song: "None shall sleep! None shall sleep! Not even you, oh Princess, in your cold bedroom. Watch the stars that tremble with love and hope! But my secret is hidden within me, and none will know my name."
The cut part of the aria around 1:57 might actually fit the scene, lol. The women chorus. "And none of us shall know his name." (Denoting Kamui's mysteriousness) "And all of us, alas, shall die, shall die." (Yeah where people died).
She was at that time, Kamui's colleague just used her ear to try color Akane's psycho pass and had her grandma kidnapped. I don't know if you have watched the full series so I'm not going to spoil what happens next ^^

Introduce a character 29 episodes into a series only to do this 2 episodes later. Cheap as fuck. The most blatant Chekhov's gun ever conceived. And people were still convinced the series was good at this point.
Pearcey80 Season 1 was fantastic. Season 2 was done by an entirely different team that basically just retreaded old stuff with a lower episode count and more predictability.
Pisses me off Shimozuki gets away with telling Togane the location of Akane's grandmother
Right!! She never gets found out!! It pisses me off! Maybe she will if we ever get a 3rd season! However, her guilt over it is enough in some ways! season 2's the most epic scene!!
Epic but messed up
This scene covered a MULTITUDE of sins that this season had.
Like, holy shit, chills.
This one scene was incredible. Say what you want about the rest.
spiderdude2099 you should hear the original version of the song played in this scene
nessun dorma
you wil get 10 times more chills
I'm just glad Akane didn't get the Sayaka Miki treatment when this happened... at the same time, I kinda wish she snapped though.
This sacene is so well done... I'ts like the Joker testing Batman. And Gino's attitude is this scene OMG
Awesome scene. I think this is a tribute to the untouchables another detective classic that uses Pavarotti in a world famous scene. if not then I would certainly be perfect.
One of the best scenes in history of... EVERYTHING!!!

Massive goosebumps!
it makes your blook curdle
Kira my squiggly spooch shriveled up

It makes me sad that Akanes grandmother suffered the way she did and also bringing Akane to the point of madness 😢😭
Can someone explain this to me, if her grandma was killed by the enforcer Togane then how/why did this guy get the ear when he's on the opposing side?

It somehow reminded me of some scenes of the movie "Hannibal".
I love this scene
Reminds me of the box scene at the end of Se7en.

does anyone know the song?
What's the Nessun Dorma's version they used in this scene, who is the singer?
it's from puccini
he is the original singer
+Jose Ramirez that's not right, Puccini is the composer.
It's not Pavarotti. It's sung by someone named "Thomas Harper". Look it up.

Bacause this season's villaim used surgery to make them into animals, to burn them alive as punishment for their curruption.
