The fact that shogo got "bored" with other psychopaths made sense, since he made them act of HIS will. Kougami was the most interesting person of all to him, since he acted on HIS will over anyone else's as much as possible.

@@inspectorlunge3887 i don't think they were literary following his own will, instead i think what really made him feel bored from them is that they can't put their lives into danger for their own purposes like Kogami did, they didn't want to play they wanted to set the rules unlike Kogami unlike Makishima.
Back then i don't understand why people said makishima is the best antagonist. I thought his ideology isn't different enough with akane and kogami's. Now i understand why. We are used to conflict = opposite ideologies in fiction. Meanwhile when you think about it, makishima, akane, and kougami have the same ideology but entirely different social role
You mean that all 3 want the best for society but have different solutions for it? Because afaik Kougami actually isn't that noble, the movies suggest that deep down he enjoys the violence he's been indulging in ever since the season 1 finale.
I believe this anime is a underrated masterpiece. Humanity just might evolve into something beautiful. Instead of dwelling ourselves into insanity and try to find inner peace. & try to die happy. Indeed its not so simple everything is a struggle for everyone. We are gifted freewill so don't be afraid to alternate your story in your favor.
Yes yes I know. Makishima have a similiar things with Johan Liebert. But there is a big differences between em. Makishima is a man who wants to see people's souls. He wants to see "the true self of human being" which means humanity shouldn't beg all of their entire life on tech n system. He also mention it that people now cant think by their self and just "ok, sybil... What should I do" and "ok, I'll do it". And here's this man comes with his "mind" and spit out with philosophy and ideology. Johan Liebert, this man... Just wants the apocalypse. He loves to see chaos things. And after watch Monster, I got it, that Johan just wants to do revenge to Franz Bonsparta after know what he did to him. His motive is kinda ambigu too The big differences is: Makishima do crimes to change the society. While Johan do crimes for himself
Well that doesn’t necessarily make Makishima better, Johan is a Nihilist and represents that theme very well, they both are 2 different antagonists with very different goals & beliefs. Makishima was more a bit more human and an Anti-Villain whereas Johan despite his tragic childhood was a more purer evil. Also you’ve dumbed down Johans motives too easily, his motives werent about revenge, it was to prove to Tenma that all lives were only equal once dead.
@@SoulSociety404 well he have 3 goals as i see 1. revenge from the person who made him like this 2. giving answer to tenma , what he questioned in very beginning . 3. the perfect suicide chaos was outcome not part of his plan
He understands human nature so well that it makes him captivating. That's why people like him. Besides, Psycho Pass made him an extremely charismatic character, which is what makes him work so well when he exposes his ideology. He's not just a villain with "a point of view." In fact, if you compare him to the other main characters in the plot, you'll see that many of them share the same ideology, but they came to different conclusions. The first season of Psycho Pass was undoubtedly a gold and a masterpiece.

the best villain who should have won and be in season 2 psycho pass even 3 but the creator didn't know how to kill him so the end sucks. I gave a rating of 7/10 or 6/10 for a very poor ending and the second season 5/10 I was disappointed and what was the point of killing him
@@kevinweng3142 I agree with you And I'll tell you I roared how he died, because tell me when he was driving a furhorn, he saw Akane, he could just stop because no one would stay at such speed and he could kill her. with questioning Kougami he is questioning I don't know why they did it because I was very furious and just that when the inspectors arrived he was happy as if he wanted to kill himself. In my opinion, Makishima just killed himself because coming there he knew that Kougami would come, he could kill everyone without any problems and even at the end, when he talked about his whole monologue that everyone is alone and let go, he talks about himself figuratively because he was all left living only ordinary shit for society and he was only alone and when Choe Sung or one of his friends died, he was not able to do half of the suicide because he was alone again, he only went to death and told Kougami that only he could kill him and he had a smile on face and died.

My only complaint about the video is that the chosen music was sometimes too loud, which made it a little difficult to understand.
