Not only that but newer characters don't have terrible passives and traces in their kits like the 1.x characters do. Look at Blade's ascension traces for example and compare them to Mydei, you'll notice one thing, Mydei's traces aren't dogshit filler and actually make his kit strong. All of the old characters have these terrible traces that just do nothing but hold back their potential, not to mention their eidolons as well. The big difference is everything before 2.0 was MHY playing safe with how strong they wanted a character to be but since penacony they threw all that out the window.
The funny thing about Jing Yuan is that at E0, Aglaea is quite a modest powercreep on average (she has higher highs, but also lower lows for casual players) and at E1 she no longer needs any specific harmony so she doesn't compete with him anymore. I am now running my two beautiful pale-haired lightning summon DPS wives on both sides of MOC and loving life. He really gets preferential treatment
no e0 jing yuan is worse than aglaea e0 without sunday. sure aglaea crashes harder but its also because she performs at a higher level than jing yuan so its a higher fall... then we get to e1s0 aglaea vs e1s0 jingyuan which isnt even fair.
@@waveman047i think its prob jing yuan with sunday vs sundayless jing yuan. yes aglaea is no contest better but in terms of casuals, Jing yuan is more consistent and feels better to play. Thus pulling agy e1 you just slot her with like rmc and bronya and give the op supports to jing yuan
the problem with reruns for newer players is cost, aglaeas vertical investment already makes her independent from sunday, jing yuans vertical investment is tied to his supports because his own eidolons arent good. which means you have to own the support first, which a new player probably cant do. but its not like you dont get much from aglaea if you invest on her supports instead, so it just gets worse for jingyuan at the start. for the same cost you get varying levels of difference.
@@waveman047 Oh of course she's better; what I mean is that because Aglaea is so feast or famine, at her worst (so in the hands of a player who lacks the gear or knowledge to maximise her) she is doing worse than a mediocre JY, who is much more idiot-proof by comparison. Naturally at her best she's running literal laps around him, but there are for sure accounts on whom Agy is only gonna be a small improvement or even not one at all, based on my testing and observations.
in this game im sure you can make anything work but both jing yuan and aglaea arent going to 5 cycle with their floors unless you are such a psycho anyway (which is not the idiot proof needed playerbase). they arent the same as acheron or the herta whos insane enough to have their floors be clearable. aglaea and jing yuan have really high ceilings that could outperform but their floor might as well not be relevant because its so bad.
The only downside to reruns in HSR is that the Game Modes are so biased towards whoever the hot new thing is that old characters are almost always too bad to use. And while I agree with the argument for pulling characters you like regardless of how good they are, I feel like there's a limit to how far that argument can go since even the biggest "Waifu >META" advocates will want to be able to use their favorite characters somewhere instead of just having them gather dust since there's nothing else to do with them in the game.
I disagree with that, these special mechanics always always benefit older units as well. Like how Seele E0S0 can 0-cycle the current MOC12 with 4-star supports because of the Trotters.
@@yyny0that's not possible unless you are using eagle wind set and 2 S5 DDD on those supports which is just absurd and impossible to achieve for a F2p player
@@yyny0 The amount of investment to be able to do that is just not realistic for average player, people that do those "only 4 star" challenges (even if I like to watch it) are minority.
i dont like how they a rerunning characters and then we get leaks that older characters are getting buffed. Not only do you have to win your 50/50 on the banner but gotta win the 50/50 if the buffs are good or not 😭😭
I mean can't you just wait until after the buffs to see if you want to pull them then? If you wanted to pull them while they were bad, then you'd do it. And if you want to pull them for being good, you'd just wait until they get buffed and rerun again, no?
Do surveys ever have an impact? Has there even been a case of hoyo listening to the western community? They mostly listen to CN and JP. Those two make up half their playerbase /revenue and are closer to them. Ive seen responses from the CN playerbase and we are pretty much tourists imposing our values onto them. I dont think they take too kindly to non traditional changes like having more men and less women.
@@JeskoS1She's not even that bad she's just outclassed lol I still use mine all the time but I can't say the same for people that pull for meta characters only, for f2p I think sw is very flexible and reliable
7:56 Just to spit in Silver Wolf's cereal some more in Apocalyptic Shadow, not only does her brute force not work, but bosses like Kafka who share/split weaknesses actively work against Silver Wolf's kit. I remember bringing Silver Wolf once to a Kafka fight, with the intention of implanting fire weakness into her so my Asta could break faster (it was a rough point in my gameplay) except I implanted a weakness Kafka "naturally" has, because of how the game handles weakness sharing. Kafka actually has no innate weaknesses, and the game implants them onto her, meaning Silver Wolf has no form of guarantee against her unlike almost any other fight.
Silver Wolf has the exact same problem as Yanqing and Yukong (and Bailu to some extent): You need to rely on RNG just to have them perform SLIGHTLY above other alternatives. And Silver Wolf's alternative is a 4-star...
ahhh yess rerun. The bait where I got my S1 SW, E1 Kafka and my E1 Sparkle... What a scam... I learned my lesson. Never pull for any rerun, wheter DPS or Support. Just pull the new shiny thing Hoyo shills. And you will grief/regret yourself less. Screw this greedy gacha "gaming" company.
The SW is one thing, but the Kafka and Sparkle sound fine to me. If you have a strong DOT team with a Black Swan, that should be strong enough for end game. Stats show it performs fine for end game content. I would know, I use Kafka and freaking Sampo for end game just fine, thanks to my Ruan Mei. And Sparkle? Yes Sunday is better, And Sparkle is still tier 1 and plenty strong. Even for Herta, she is fine if you dont have her Sig. I think the newer DPS and Support "pressure" is more for comfort. The new toy will always be strong and casually 0 cycle content, but that doesn't mean you "need" them. Hell Firefly is pretty old and to this day is still tier 0 and performing great. Her re-run passed too. And I dont gotta mention Feixiao; her re-run is passing and is still doing fantastic at tier 0. Now if it is someone like Blade? Yeah that is bait, I wont sugarcoat it. But as a f2p that comfortably beats end game, I never feel pressure to pick up the shiny new toys. Smart investment and planning will do you just fine; you just wont be casually 0 cycling or clicking auto battle.
I think the comparison between JY and Aglaea might not be as cut and dry as "she is just better", because for Older Players who invested in the Archetype JY follows, he just might be much more easier to farm, build and play than her. Aglaea also has to compete with the fact that almost all of the stuff she wants is "new". New Path means no actual Lightcone alternatives, memosprite doesn't benefit from Duke Set, so you have to pull the new one and the Ornament doesn't even benefit Memosprite. Never mind actually having to wait for her buddy Sunny to rerun sometime before a new Remembrance unit takes over OR JY gets another support/buff, like he always has. So her opportunity cost is huge, it's kind of whatever for new players who can just farm since 3.0 started and just focus on her, but getting older players to rebuild another unit from a NEW set is kind of daunting. Especially when you want to be optimal with her. "If you have a type" and yes, sometimes, is not even about people playing broken character every patch. Sometimes it's about people liking a Character. And for others, it might be a "playstyle/damage spread" that they like or enjoy. Crazy British woman is a no go when Foxy Grandpa is on the House.
And also aglaea imo is kinda the same situation as jingyuan. Even jingyuan can do better than her. Energy requirement not that high, and his dmg on e0 still better and not that clunky to use. Aglaea is not that bad to opening remembrance part but for me she is somekind make me not wanting to pull for her.
i used to think the lcs would push aglaea back until the calcs rolled in that aglaea has so much atk she can use the 3 star better than the 4 star lc (which is a cdmg stat stick, shows how good it is i guess), and even though banamusement doesnt work that well its still her bis. the question now comes if jing yuan is better with cheaper options. there may be some case to that but the floor of these units are so low that it doesnt matter anyway, both need sunday to do the bare minimum, they arent like acheron or therta who can frankenstein a team together and still can 3-4 cycle with cheap skate options (now at this point its not even about aglaea its about if jing yuan is even worth it over THE HERTA and its not a fair comparison). jingyuan and aglaea without sunday is a struggle to even 5 cycle.
If you don't have sunday and have to wait for a rerun why would you use or pull jing yuan at all. He is way more dependent on sunday no matter which way you slice it.
@ because Aglaea can use a Frankenstein team and sort of have a lower ceiling team with Bronya and Tingyun. Again, why I said "never mind...", because she can work on extreme budget scenarios, but JY can't. However, you probably have an acceptable JY set ready, while Aglaea can only work with the new one.
aglaea can use 2pc. 2pc. spd combos that have crit rolls which many people have if they ever tried to build bronya, sparkle or sunday. any jing yuan team that cant use these sets plainly is just wrong. you can use leftover scholar pieces farming for sacredos for it's 2pc. too. aglaea's set isnt that strong actually, jing yuan relies on his duke set because its such a massive atk stat stick which is contrasted with sunday, but aglaea has so much atk it doesnt matter on her that she only cares about cdmg and spd boost from the 4pc relics, which is not high enough to be make or break with sunday's sacredos and other cdmg buffs diluting the pool.
People really need to stop parroting this "Silver Wolf is bad because modern DPSes ignore weaknesses themselves" nonsense. Seriously, if Firefly for example didn't have Fire weakness implant, who would you drop from your team to make room for SW? You're not dropping Ruan Mei because that drops your damage output by half, and you're not dropping your superbreak enabler either because that way you lose even more damage. If there's even a single trashmob in an MOC floor that isn't weak to the element of your break DPS, you're not making room for Silver Wolf on your team. You're playing a different team altogether. If a crit DPS is allowed to crit enemies that aren't weak to their element, why shouldn't break DPSes be allowed to break? Silver Wolf isn't bad because "DPSes do it themselves", Silver Wolf is bad because her kit, and Nihility supports as a whole, are underpowered.
I pulled Silver Wolf over Robin on the current banner. My reasoning is that Silver Wolf will likely take a very long time (a year or longer) to rerun, so if I want her I have to pick her up now. Robin, on the other hand, will likely rerun quite often and I’ll have plenty of chances to pick her up. That’s my general pulling strategy where I prioritize pulling older units that don’t rerun frequently. Since my main goal is to collect characters, I’m more interested in older characters than newer meta ones, and only care about the endgame giving me more jades for my pulls
There's another CC that stated that SW being bad for rerun potential isn't just her kit being trivialized but her rerun being basically done at the wrong time. And I actually agree with it. If she was rerun with Boothill's release in 2.2, consider: 1) def shred + res pen actually helps with break damage if people don't have Ruan Mei yet. And having 2 implanters will actually help Boothill do what he needs if paired with HMC. 2) Acheron being released a patch before Boothill will help people get the classic Pela+SW teamup. (Practically predatory if this happened if devs knew they're releasing Jiaoqiu, but they will get more sales from this. Fu Xuan seemed like her rerun with Booty just happened because she was up next and nothing else.)
I think topaz' biggest strength over moze is her ability to move numby's mark whenever her turn comes around, while moze either needs *nine attacks* or the target dying. But god damn it hurts knowing an E2 4* can compete with my favourite character to play. She's still better with ratio though :3
While it's great that we have some level of buffs incoming I feel like Hoyo would make even more money if they lowered the pity cap on reruns. You want the new shiny unit? 90 hard pity at a 0.600% drop rate. Fair enough it's what we all know. But, what if when a character got rerun hard pity was at 50 with a 75/25 to encourage players to vertically invest in old units? That unit MOC/APOC/PF buff wouldn't be in rotation most likely but you could still have the unit you wanted by saving on the Express Pass or if you're gonna whale it's gonna hurt your pocketbook less. I'm sure Hoyo would rather make $50 from 30% of players than $300 out of 5%.
My Hoyolab app had me shown as over 500 days, before I finally pulled my first copy of DDD. And I got it on the same pull that I _lost_ my 50/50 to Clara, on Aventurine's banner. I don't think it was even on rate-up. But current banner has it on rate-up.
i hear people already telling me that feixiao isn't a recommended pull anymore and you should hold your pulls and it's. really made me feel the meta's speed
i think a huge part of that is the shift towards aoe with the release of therta. it feels incredibly likely that we’ll continue to see that as the direction the meta shifts going forward, further devaluing single target units we see the next one which, undoubtedly, will powercreep feixiao
Feixiao is still an extremely strong unit, however she is designed around melting 1-2 enemies. Her value was obviously going to drop once content became less single-target oriented.
I'm not sure where this Topaz rerun being awful idea came from. 1) Yes, March 7th and Moze exist. But Moze is still more situational than either, and kind of needs to be E6 to compete, which does means rolls do have to be spent to get Moze to E6. March 7th can be gotten E6 for free through ingame quests. Arguably you can get a single 5-star limited before you can get a single 4-star to E6 (that's 7 consecutive Mozes under highly unrealistic odds) So, really only E6 March 7th Hunt is the main contender for most accounts. 2) The 2nd best (or best, if you count total team damage with the debuff applied) LC to put on the Hunt subdps was and still is Topaz's signature. Even if you weren't going to pull for the character, Topaz rerun does mean a 75% chance to pull a meta Lightcone for crit-based Hunt FUA characters. 3) Topaz's E1 is still pretty strong upgrade if you already had Topaz. Technically E1 > S1 for Topaz (in a vacuum), so if you already had Topaz and wanted to further strengthen the Feixiao team, that extra debuff E1 applies is very good for Feixiao teams. Is E0 Topaz marginally better than E6 March 7th Hunt/E6 Moze? Yes. But I'd argue that's good game design? You're not pressured to _have_ to pull Topaz, and there's free(mium) options that are niche sidegrades/downgrades compared to Topaz. I'd rather Topaz/March7thHunt characters exist, rather than Ruan Meis (who pretty much have no suitable 4star downgrade/alternative) in HSR.
fair point, but i dont think the lc is that good enough, theres stuff like sunday lc and to a lesser extent jiaoqiu lc where i can see it but i dont think topaz lc is on that level.
I reckon they should implement a shop like in HI3rd where you can farm currency to buy the oldest power crept units. That would avoid pointless reruns of units like Seele and Blade without removing access to them entirely. (Justice for my angry windy man)
I definitely think the power creep of HSR was too quick, but I also don't hold it against them that it happened especially since they're already buffing old units. Even outside of gacha games, businesses constantly adapt their strategies to survive and grow. There’s nothing inherently wrong with a company making adjustments to improve its financial standing-every business does it, and it’s a fundamental part of staying afloat. Criticism is fine, but some people act like hoyo doing this is some unique evil ignores how all companies operate.
Yeah the powercreept is too fast .. if only they make it slower they could make a balancing .. so the unit release wouldn't be op and and break the game like right now.. and hp inflation wouldn't be a thing since the power level of a unit is the same ..
Re runs also don’t work because of characters straight up being recycled kits now… the devs ran out of ideas. It’s not like you can enjoy a particular playstyle because a character that’s better will just be the same exact character with some slight differences at most… it’s essentially just a re-skin Yunli = Clara (which is fine because it’s a standard I guess)… Jiaoqiu is straight up Pela but is always better than SW… Feixiao is Dr Ratio powercreep, they have the same kit except she doesn’t need debuffs. Lingsha is Gallagher but also an erudition break dps which then means she has the same functionality as Rappa… which doesn’t help since there are now 4 5* break dps in the game now. Sunday is better at being Sparkle and Bronya… having the best of both worlds. Fugue is copy and pasted HTB and is missing a “enhanced” basic attack and ultimate for her kit… she literally just does nothing but stand there and use her skill a bit. RTB is just Sunday/Bronya/Sparkle… with true damage Aglaea is a summon lightning… like Jing Yuan… but at least she does speed stuff but it doesn’t change much They needed to release a whole new path but the path mechanic is just inherently worse action bar summons… Memosprites are inherently worse because they don’t share buffs unless the buffs are pre-battle which makes them mechanically worse in the same way healing and debuffs are inherently worse than shielding and buffing respectively. They needed to release a whole new path because they clearly ran out of ideas. The main dps path that got most ignored was Erudition for a while, but chances are they’re going to release more erudition before running out of ideas again and we’ll never see many hunt or destruction because those ideas were already run dry. And Remembrance is a path that can be any path so they’ll copy and paste previous kits with a remembrance logo attached.
I think the best way they can change silverwolf is to make her skill hypercharge the effects of an element instrad of making a weakness break. Bassically make a specific element the enemies already weak to more damaging to them, like increasing the dmg% ratio they take from that element, or even more damage to the break bar from that element after her skill is used.
1:31 "Powercreep for sustains is almost non-existent" I audibly laughed at that, thank you. I died so many times against Hoolay and the DOT robot with Luocha and Fu Xuan, while it wasn't even close with Lingsha(I am talking about non break teams). The sustains even ignoring their dmg capabilities have actively experienced some powercreep. Fu is more safe than Luocha. Huohuo and Fu are probably the closest in sustain prowess but Fu suffers against debuffs and DOT. Aven's shields are better than Fu's dmg share especially against AOE attacks and similar in single target if you use the same attack combo as Fu(skill basic basic), while his 50% eff res is better than Fu's one time CC immunity on skill, while he's better than Huohuo against single target and in general keeping alive(I have died so many times on Robin with Huohuo that it's not even funny). Lingsha and Aven are also close but Lingsha can work better against debuffs with more agency with her Rabbit while 50% eff res is RNG.
I regret using 230 pulls on a rerun for Topaz E0S1. I thought that she'd be future proof for upcoming FUA characters (In my mind, I thought Screwllum would come out already). Only to be disappointed how bad she is and how you can easily replace her with March or Moze.
Failed to get Kafka on both her reruns... now I would struggle to find content to use her whenever her third rerun drops. Will probably still pull because favourite character disease and cope for DOT meta revival (and now the direct character buff news)
DOT meta revival, otherwise known as making every DOT stick for longer and give a way to action advance enemies to have them trigger DOT more. If we look at every seasonal content that features DOT buffs, its one or both of these things. It really cant function without these overhauls, but only time will tell whether they make new characters to solve these problems, or buff existing characters to fix what exists. I do hope for it, as three of my favorite characters are DOT users.
I pulled Jing Yuan because Aglaea didn't yet exist at the time - had Jing Yuan banner up with Sunday and he felt awesome so I said yeah! And now I've built him and used him and no way am I redoing all that for Aglaea. It's kinda like that, you don't know. I want Aventurine, for example, how would I know if anything good's coming soon to replace him?
Sustain PC is currently the least bad. The only powercrept one I'd argue is Luocha, and even he can carry you through the endgame if you pick your dps and supports right.
I would say that sustain powercreep is only the least bad because they launch so few sustains. Since the game's release we've only had: - Three 5* Healers (Luocha, Huohuo and Lingsha) - Two 5* Preservations (Fuxuan and Aventurine) - Two 4* healers (Linx and Gallahar). - ZERO 4* Preservation
I never pull on reruns even if I like the character if I can’t get them on the first banner by the time they rerun I feel like I don’t need them but I always pull for support units
Honestly I wish gacha games do what crk does which makes a rate up banner for each character and get added to the regular banner later on it’s so much better than most gacha wise
So like Guardian Tales? Guardian Tales does not have guaranteed pity, but you can easily pick any character every 300 pulls. And you can get signature weapon if you are lucky by transmutating your unnecessary weapons.
I'm already dropping less than 1k so I can actually have savings. E2s1 is the destination. The reruns are for pocket deep consumers. And the full character is no secret almost close to a down payment of a car.
Rerun not really for a pocket deep consumer.. someone who likes the characters will also go for it .. i just spend monthly and that it .. and i still go for blackswan and seele (even tho i do get bs early like a ten pity) but my intention of getting it is there .. wether they are bad as a characters i still go .. because i like them as a characters... I use them often .. not always especially in moc 12 where i use seele second side and she is doing fine since it's her specialty boss and i did kafka, blackswan last moc 12 on svarog they also did fine without huohuo
I'm calling it guys, HSR will end up like Dragon Ball Dokkan Battle. Old characters will be rerun like crazy and they will receive kit updates periodicaly but meta will be changing very quickly too.
I pulled topaz e0s1 back during robins initial run because i had leftover pulls and enjoyed fua gameplay, she's now collecting dust while march carries around her lightcone because she's my favorite character, whoops! I'm tentatively looking forwards to see how theyll upgrade old units though, i got really lucky in early patches and pulled seele and silverwolf, but also never really built them since i didnt know what i was doing (didnt get super into character kits until around 1.3). Would be nice to be able to use them in actual content again even if its something really niche.
The way that i pull anyone in rerun feels like a bad choice, just like sparkle last rerun, i also like boothill playstyle but a rerun dps means their time has come, who knows maybe hoyo will release more boss units that auto lock their weakness all the time until you have to hit certain time. Rerun feels like scamming all the time, the only rerun i feel like it is not a scam yet is sustain rerun with aven and lingsha, but sadly not loucha.
For me, this game makes it very difficult for you to want to get a rerun. With a few exceptions, it seems more viable to get a new unit than to worry about an old one, that is, of course, if you care about keeping your account "healthy" and not choosing characters just because you like it.
Imbibitor Lunae is one rerun I keep skipping and always will. You practically needed either Sparkle or an extremely well-built Hanya to use him, or I guess now Sunday would be best, but he fell off for real. There's just no reason for a player who doesn't already have him to pull. Ditto for Silver Wolf. I got Pela's E6 months and months ago, been using her even since before getting Acheron, and she's great. Not even just PF, MoC and AS have been heavily favoring AoE
The Jingyuan vs Aglaea situation might not be that easy to compare, like I fully agree Aglaea does more dmg, and in MOC she is definitively better. But Jingyuan does more toughness dmg and is fully AOE, so he is on par or sometimes better than Aglaea in APOC and PF.
in hsr by the time a dps gets a rerun theres a 90% chance in the meentime some new character dropped that completely eclipses them in any aspect making them the single worst pickup in existance
I mainly use clara and himeko as my main dps’ and I just picked up Feixiao since I didn’t have a wind character. I plan on getting fugue and ruan mei to make super break himeko and I already have sunday/robin for clara (and feixiao)
I gave up on waifu gaming and doing meta only now, like castorice phaenon and Cyrene. What if my favs are like argenti and huohuo and aglaea, gotta pull so much to do mid results
I mean if you already have jingyuan you probably already pull his support too right? If not than it's your problem lmao I mean it his dedicated support if you didn't play him with his support than you play with your own risk (same case where some players pull for acheron but not for jq, then it's your problem that your acheron didn't meet her best performance) And if it that case no need to think about pulling aglaea in the first place because they are share the same team comp😂 Also i think being relateable it's not reliable anymore, wdym u didn't have any good *5 support in this day😅 it's your fault for only pull *5 dps not with their substitute support. Even you lose 50/50 in their support you should always prioritize them in the rerun and maybe wait for another substitute *5 support
I'd like to add that concurrently topaz isnt even better than moze now bcs of the new eagle tech casuals: moze >= topaz > march and for high end investment, lmao shes the worst of the three, even her e1 (since they can all use her s1) is considered worse than those two High end: Moze + RMC/Tribbie (2 targets/bosses) >= March + Bronya/Sunday (3+ targets) >> Topaz Not to mention moze is better for ratio and march is versatile, topaz is rly just a comfort and if she's your fav pull
Welp, glad I only pulled for her sig. It's really great for my March and Moze lol No wonder I've been seeing some Topaz discourse lately which kinda surprised me because she got a lot of praise when Feixiao was released
7:41 Idk why I laughed at this part 😂 I've seen gimmicky PF runs where people use Boothill or Ratio but I've NEVER seen someone who actually uses Silver Wolf in PF 🫣

You forgot the ugliest side of reruns: You can just straight-up NOT GET ONE
Rest in piece Dr. Ratio, you were huge
at this point i cant come up with a defense to pull ratio over feixiao, theyre way too similar 💀
Doctor…🤤🥴
To be fair, Ratio was FREE at one point, so they may feel less obligated to rerun him
@somethingext Meanwhile WuWa: Reran Xiangli Yao after only 2 patches of them giving him out for free.
@@Shane_A_MExactly the reason why people would pull for him.
Not only do you have to win your 50/50 on the banner but gotta win the 50/50 if the buffs are good or not 😭😭
I believe in the heart of the cards! (I got Silver Wolf, cope.)
I mean can't you just wait until after the buffs to see if you want to pull them then?
If you wanted to pull them while they were bad, then you'd do it. And if you want to pull them for being good, you'd just wait until they get buffed and rerun again, no?
You don't have to win 50/50 on buff part, you just need to keep doing your, by not paying and giving the right feedback on the surveys.
It's Honkai. The buffs will be good.
Robin rerunning twice before many others feels really really scummy
At the same time, at least Robin is competitive with units newer than her, unlike most other possible reruns.
There are two kind of people in this world, those who care about the meta, and those who pull for their favorite characters.
how about the ones that pull for meta (supports) to make their faves strong 🤨
💯! I pulled for Silver Wolf because she's the cutest 😊
@@JeskoS1She's not even that bad she's just outclassed lol I still use mine all the time but I can't say the same for people that pull for meta characters only, for f2p I think sw is very flexible and reliable

Just to spit in Silver Wolf's cereal some more in Apocalyptic Shadow, not only does her brute force not work, but bosses like Kafka who share/split weaknesses actively work against Silver Wolf's kit.
Smart investment and planning will do you just fine; you just wont be casually 0 cycling or clicking auto battle.
except robin, she aged like fine wine

Same, I just know that by the time Silver Wolf reruns we'll be finishing the world AFTER Amphoreus.
This is their 4th gacha. They knew exactly what they were doing mate.
yeah and they thought they could get away with it until sales keep getting lower and has pretty much never recovered.
There's another CC that stated that SW being bad for rerun potential isn't just her kit being trivialized but her rerun being basically done at the wrong time. And I actually agree with it.
If she was rerun with Boothill's release in 2.2, consider:
1) def shred + res pen actually helps with break damage if people don't have Ruan Mei yet.
She's still better with ratio though :3
march 7th doesnt need a mark at all though, and dr. ratio in big 2025 after a feixiao rerun is crazy.
You know powercreep is bad when Acheron and Firefly’s rerun banners flop.
Tbf apparently the ownership rate for ff is like 70% and acheron is like 68% so most people already had them

I mean for someone who's saving for rerun .. they be eating good .. for only 100 pull to guranteed a characters no need paying lol
I got E1S1 Acheron on rerun and she aged like fine wine I seriously never swapped my team since November of last year
Amphoreus seem to forgot 4 star characters (since I didn't see anyone spreads leaks/rumor about any characters could become 4 star)
I only know of 2, 4 stars from leaks so far
I've only heard of 1 4⭐ in passing unless they announced another one and I missed it
Lmao the only rerun worth pulling for is that DDD LC, that shit has been locked away in their basement for over a year
Every account should have 20 copies of Sparkle's signature Light Cone, "Dance! Dance! Dance!"
Feixiao is still 2nd best dps in the game being able to 3 cost nikador without even killing the adds
@@waveman047Topaz LC is great for sheer versatility.
It’s not like you can enjoy a particular playstyle because a character that’s better will just be the same exact character with some slight differences at most… it’s essentially just a re-skin
Yunli = Clara (which is fine because it’s a standard I guess)…
Jiaoqiu is straight up Pela but is always better than SW…
Feixiao is Dr Ratio powercreep, they have the same kit except she doesn’t need debuffs.
RTB is just Sunday/Bronya/Sparkle… with true damage
Aglaea is a summon lightning… like Jing Yuan… but at least she does speed stuff but it doesn’t change much
They needed to release a whole new path but the path mechanic is just inherently worse action bar summons… Memosprites are inherently worse because they don’t share buffs unless the buffs are pre-battle which makes them mechanically worse in the same way healing and debuffs are inherently worse than shielding and buffing respectively.
Even Numby get power creep by The Herta's chest scanner
let's be honest here, blade is "the ugly" as well. At least SW had her glory time, Blade had about half a patch :D
you are my fave HSR youtuber alongside guoba! thank you for the great videos! hope you are well.
I pulled Dan Heng IL and Aventurine on rerun over V2.6 (Because I don't have any Imaginary character)
Dot will be ok again in 4.X. There's no hope for it in 3.X.
At this stage HSR Seele is a Standart character.
Pulled Dan Heng last rerun, have not used him once, but I finally have Dan Heng
Sustain PC is currently the least bad. The only powercrept one I'd argue is Luocha, and even he can carry you through the endgame if you pick your dps and supports right.
I would say that sustain powercreep is only the least bad because they launch so few sustains.
Since the game's release we've only had:
- Three 5* Healers (Luocha, Huohuo and Lingsha)
- Two 5* Preservations (Fuxuan and Aventurine)
- Two 4* healers (Linx and Gallahar).
Reverse 1999 does that too. Let's just say most of them are not even worth it since 5 stars can be more useful.
So like Guardian Tales? Guardian Tales does not have guaranteed pity, but you can easily pick any character every 300 pulls. And you can get signature weapon if you are lucky by transmutating your unnecessary weapons.
But I always fantasize about a small window and then I'm like I can save more money.
I've quite literally always regretted getting dps on rerun. The only time reruns have been worth it is a harmony like Robin.
Your videos butter My biscuits thank you 🗣️
I'm already dropping less than 1k so I can actually have savings.
Summoners War did this too and made things fresh. They werent afraid to nerf too.
Right now im using fuli, aha, terminus and hooh hoping none of them gets powercrept 😊
Aha will powercreep themselves because it’s gonna be funny

0:23 so much nostalgia in these words...
Make Silverwolf great again!!
DPSes have omnishreds, and the sw's nerfed from beta kits leaves much to be desired in blast and aoe contents.
Omg red velvet song mentioned🎉🎉🎉
I mainly use clara and himeko as my main dps’ and I just picked up Feixiao since I didn’t have a wind character. I plan on getting fugue and ruan mei to make super break himeko and I already have sunday/robin for clara (and feixiao)
It's good they're fetting buffed
4:24 Jing Yuan is better in every endgame tho? 😭
They themselves already know rerunning old unit is griefing the revenue
So i expected Robin (yes again) and Sunday to rerun on 3.3 😂
The way i havent pulled for a sustain since huohuo i dont get the hype to pull sustains at all. Investing in harmonies goes further imo
I gave up on waifu gaming and doing meta only now, like castorice phaenon and Cyrene. What if my favs are like argenti and huohuo and aglaea, gotta pull so much to do mid results
I mean if you already have jingyuan you probably already pull his support too right? If not than it's your problem lmao
I mean it his dedicated support if you didn't play him with his support than you play with your own risk (same case where some players pull for acheron but not for jq, then it's your problem that your acheron didn't meet her best performance)
And if it that case no need to think about pulling aglaea in the first place because they are share the same team comp😂
Also i think being relateable it's not reliable anymore, wdym u didn't have any good *5 support in this day😅 it's your fault for only pull *5 dps not with their substitute support. Even you lose 50/50 in their support you should always prioritize them in the rerun and maybe wait for another substitute *5 support
DFFOO buffed old characters.
It's also dead.

doesn't matter if they did it for money, it's still a good thing for the players
I'd like to add that concurrently topaz isnt even better than moze now bcs of the new eagle tech

and for high end investment, lmao shes the worst of the three, even her e1 (since they can all use her s1) is considered worse than those two
High end: Moze + RMC/Tribbie (2 targets/bosses) >= March + Bronya/Sunday (3+ targets) >> Topaz
Not to mention moze is better for ratio and march is versatile, topaz is rly just a comfort and if she's your fav pull
Welp, glad I only pulled for her sig. It's really great for my March and Moze lol
No wonder I've been seeing some Topaz discourse lately which kinda surprised me because she got a lot of praise when Feixiao was released
