👍🏼💯
Awesome technic for winter Carl. What brand hooks and swivel/clip have you found to be the most dependable?
He breaks that down around the 1:59 mark
So from the O-rings, Quad hooks, clip and swivel I heard him say the brand Owner in the context of O-rings. Are we to assume then that all the components there in are from Owner? Sorry Carl I don’t mean to cause a problem in your comments, it’s just that you said you had tried and the snaps and had problems, I would like to know what brand name you settled on and perhaps the pound test rating of the snap😊
@@charlesnorton2441Hey mate so I mainly use a lot of Owner gear you can’t go wrong. They don’t have a quad hook yet though, this one is a decoy! Owner snagless Snap is really good for your snap in the 60lb model, I also like the Decoy Egg snap and this one is the Mustad snap n swivel which I like allot but want to test it more! Hope that helps! 👍
Very surprised you are still running a snap after seeing your "bad luck" on Bassmaster.
Surely there must be a split ring or something similar of a certain size or weight that would give the same action and be more secure.
What's it going to take? If you have "bad luck" on live TV again, will that change your mind?
Or twice more?
He said it was his fault that day bc he hit it on a dock and weakened it and didn’t check it when he kept fishing. Sounds like accountability to us 🤷🏼♂️
@@BassmasterOfficial the clip failed, obviously not durable enough. What if the next one hits something underwater and he never notices?
Be accountable as much as you like but clips fail. If it happens again, what next?
The difference it makes versus a more secure equivalent must be imperceptible. Surely having a quad hook versus a treble would make a similar minuscule difference to the lures action.
Why risk it.
